what board should i get that is wide enough for a 11 size boots that are high profile and height is 5'9 and is and intermediate that has a price range of 200-275 dollars for just the deck. Also i want to keep it for a couple years so thats why i wanna get a wide baord cause my feet arent done growing.
@TheZebraStripedWhite yeah definately widen your stance. I did that on my board and got so much more flex out of it. With your size and the board you got,,, you basically have to just spend a whole day doing butters and shit. You need to wear in the board. It'll get flexier in good time
@ryanrummler does danny kass model differ much from the street series? its a bit harder and has faster base and got the c2. so could cure the lack of pop now, isnt it?
still float and press good?
what are best uses for it?
coz i bought street series 4 everything, rode it indoor, loved it, but could deal with more pop( and im gonna test it for 2 weeks in austria in february.
i hope its great 4 all mountain, everybody says it is^^
@laccrosseplaya07 They're not bad, but there are better bindings for jibbing. For starters check out the Union DLX. Joe Sexton rides them and that kid is master of the jib. And really anything from Union or Flux is going to be amazing. So maybe just take a look at them and see what fits your budget. You can't really go wrong with them.
@SLAPYOMOM Mmmm... I would still say it's about right. Maybe for your height it's a little long, but really for your weight it's dead on, even for park. If you want to get a shorter park board take a look at the Forum Youngblood, it was designed to be ridden 5 cm shorter.
@LowerFalls Yup, you for sure need a wide, and if you ride mostly park you can get away with the 153, but if you're more all mountain and powder I would go with the 156.
hey when u said its a 3.5 or 4 out of 10 does tht mean its not gona last or it isnt as good? what board would u recomend for me, i do alot of rails and medium/large sized jumps...what boards would u recomend? thanks...
@SuperAllgeier Nope, those numbers have nothing to do with durability or how long the board will last. They indicate the flex. It means the board is a little bit softer and is easier to bend. Softer boards are better for park riding. I would say this is a good board for the riding you want to do. It will ride the park but hold up for jumps.
hey dave i need to know what board would be better the camber or rocker for some groomers ,speed, medium jumps but can still be more buttery then the forum destroyer chillydog . please help dave u guys still gots dem and i wants one .
@shutthehellup6666 Camber for sure. You should check out the 2011 Rossignol boards with Amptek. They have camber in the middle and rocker at the tip and tail. It holds a good edge at higher speeds and groomers but is still nice and buttery because of the rocker. Other brands have their own versions of that, but I've tried a couple Rossi boards and it's amazing.
Yo I'm thinking of getting this but wide style but I'm kinda new and don't know what bindings are good for it. Do u hot any suggestions? And do i need a specific boot or does any boot work fine. Also I am a size 12.
@khasti16 Boot are the most important part of the package so if you spend extra money...do it on the boots! As far as bindings go I prefer mid-high end Burtons or Unions.
Hey, i'm looking into the rocker version, is that a good progressing board for beginner looking forward to jump into parks/ freestyle at t one point ?... or what would you advise please ??? a couple of options if possible ??.. thanks a lot !!!
i'm looking to get the rocker version but i can only find it in a 156w. i wear a size 13 boot and im 170 pounds so i think it would work fine for me, but i know this is one of those boards that you need to size down with. but would a 156w work better for me than a 153w?
hi im 5'7 and still growing and i weigh 150 and have a size 11.5 size boot. I was wondering what size board i should get? Also 1 more question should i get the rocker version or the camber one?
@thehouseboardshop haha I heard this isnt a great jumper on bigger jumps because its a softer board. Im seriously considering buying this board but how soft it is is kind of sketching me out, and I also heard you could ride this board shorter than your usual size does that mean you HAVE to ride shorter than your actual size because if so I wouldnt be able to get one .
I'm around 5'5 110 pounds and I'm mainly in the park 95% of the time. Is this board good for me. If so what size.
