when i saw this movie in kindergaden class at the end i stood up pouded my fists against my chest and yelled like tarzan and woke up all the toddlers. still my favorite movie of all time though.

I love pretty much all the animated Disney movies to death, and yet Tarzan is far and away my favorite, and for so many reasons.

As someone who has loved science all her life, the way Jane and Archimedes approach science really speaks to me. The theme of discovery throughout the movie is so powerful. The lyrics "put your faith in what you most believe in" seem redundant at first, but it is beautifully true.

Also, I, too, am an emotionally constipated individual--what can I say?
