Tennessee, like all of the other southeast states, isn't nearly as much of a traditional state as it once was, and I'd venture to say that states like Florida would have just as much southern culture in the non-urban areas. I think that the heartland states are the last states that use older traditional thinking anymore, but I can't say for sure since I don't live there.
