@AntiKeybladeX What I would suggest is make a copy of the video then take a picture or freeze a fram or if possable take a pic. You have to do some clean up on the background but if Megatech says it's OK I guess you should ask him/her.

Spybot - Search & Destroy isn't a Anti-Virus. It's more of an anti-adware and anti-spyware. An example of an anti-virus is AVG.

Spybot is only malware protection(not anti-virus) and has low detection rate.

ok sorted that bit out needed to reboot after disabling uac, now all protected in the imunization part,, but when i go to do a scan it freezes on that page,,any ideas

HELP M8,, i installed it and immunised there was over 100,000 unprotected on scan it sorted 20,000 but 80,000,it wont sort, so i disabled ( need to be an administrator ) so i disabled the uac, but its still the same,, its a new laptop vista premium,, and i have the new norton 3.0 installed think this could b the problem but dont no how to disable and enable it ,to use spybot in background,,,any sugestions or help plz,, i wont spybot up and running thanks

Spybot S&D is a fantastic free program but you keep referring to it as an anti-virus program as well which is misleading imho. While it has some av-ish functions it is an anti-spyware program.

Spybot's Tea Timer and Immunization applets are both top notch and should be used by anyone who installs Spybot S&D.

For a free and highly effective AV program to use in combination with Spybot S&D I suggest either Avast! or Avira

What full anti virus programs would you suggest because ive got lots of rubbish making my pc funny and pop ups come up annoying me :(. Combine Avira Antivirus with Spyware Bot, and trust me YOU WILL GET EVEN BETTER SECURITY !!!!!

Moreover, one anti-Spyware plus one Anti-Virus software doesn't slow Computer. However, if you are using two Antivrus softwares (which is not recommended, even not by the Manufacturers), the computer will be slowed down.

Use AVG free edition with Spy bot and you have a very nice set-up, that's free. :)

I made the background myself using paint.lol

But I lost the file that had the background Picture. :(

Spybot Search & Destroy isnt an antivirus software, it doesnt detect viruses. Avira antivir free edtion and avast home are free antiviruses spybot is just a anti spyware adware program. Good we figured that out :P

It has a basic anti virus program in it. And the firewall blocks almost every virus from even getting to you pc/notepad, If I didnt think this wouldn't do the job, then i would not have uploaded it.

You cant rely on this as your main antivirus anyway.

Comodo internet security, drive sentry Nod32 Avira avg avast norton are some brands of antivirus products. Firewall is incorrect aswell if you mean the "Teatimer" isnt that a firewall, its just a process, registry file watcher it have nothing innit that makes it a firewall except that. Check matousecdotcom if you wanna see real firewalls in action. This is only a program you can use as a basic second alternative spywarescanner, old database.

There is two firewalls/blockers in the program.

One: In the browser firewall/ Immunizer

Two: The main firewall. That's not teatimer.

Never use norton, it slows down the best of computers.

I have not used ad-aware in a while, but last time i had the program i found it to be all show and no bite. And it used a hell of a lot of memory and CPU usage. Not the program for me. Where as Spy-bot does bite, and it's a light weight program. e.g. does not use much memory and CPU.

I know you mentioning to MegaTechGuy but yes you will need antivirus software.

Spybot search and destroy is designed only to destroy certain spyware trojans and worms but no keylogggers.

My advice is to get Avast. It is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!
