@turbolax22 Try getting some books, search google. These instant inductions only work if you prep the person in advance by having them think hypnosis will work. Do more research and you'll be able to do basic stuff in a few days!

@gaonasteve31 Nothing ill will come of it. Nobody can get stuck in hynosis. Ever! If I were to drop dead when working with one of my clients, after a while they would simply get bored and open their eyes to see what's going on - thus coming out of the trance. They could also fall asleep.

@lohisc If you receive the emails from Steve, you will see he does sales on weekends. I got many of his books for $1 each I think. Since everything is electronic downloads, books, mp3 scripts etc, he really reduces the prices. I think there was $.050 sale at one time. Many of the books are about scripts, which are programming words for various subjects and goals. Lots of sales and the prices go down each time. I think I ended up buying all the books and many mp3 combo's for less than $40.

@KaiDune depends, if its implanted at a deep enough level, then they would start having medical issues in the next months. All kinds of things would start popping up. Doctors have to be very careful when they have patients under anesthesia becus if they say negative things it can affect the recovery to a point. Doesnt mean they will die but it could mean a hard recovery other ailments popping up.

i've been watching a variety of videos on instant induction, and finally decided I understood it well enough to give it a try, so my eight year old son was my first subject. i explained to him that i was going to hypnotize him, and then did the handshake / arm-jerk technique and he went right under on the first try. i talked him deeper into trance and then gave him the suggestion that his right foot was fixed to the floor. he couldn't move it while under trance, but could when he awoke on three.

The jolt of the arm and the sleep command has an extremely small part in hypnosis.

Hypnosis is all about creating trust between your subject and you, but also confidence. If your subject sees that you are confident, they will go into trance with out a problem.

Awesome vid, though not good at rapid induction mine is about 8 minutes. It's Elman/Erickson with the arm rise. I've been a Certified Hypnotist 3 years. See my channel. I ALWAYS test forgeting the #2. Why? Well then I'll say count your eyes, your knees...etc. I do the shoe for a phone routine. I do the invisible Hypnotist routine. Good smell / bad smell. When I say such and such you'll dance. I have though done the 3 handshake 1 1/2 induction. I'm a street hypnotist / magician BTW.

I always thought the 'handshake' is where you do the pattern interrupt (you break the handshake), in order to get the conscious part occupied with the 'new' situation and so leave the unconscious defenseless for commands. But if you start pulling on their arm while shaking their hand normally that will have the same effect i.e. they'll be like "WTF?" and them 'BAMM'...sleep! :-)

you are talking about the "handshake interrupt" induction, this is an instant handshake induction..

Instant handshake induction requires a pattern interrupt. So what you can do is break the handshake act in the middle or jolt their arm, which in both situations makes them focus on the new situation (transderivational search), thus bypassing the critical factor (consciousness) leaving them open to suggestion.
