Dave tried to buy the Jackson company but that didn' work out and if you ask me, I would've left after that too cause Fender ruins everything. Look what happened to Kramer after Gibson brought them. Do you play guitar enashii123? I picked up the Jackson King V today and was dead set on getting it unitl I picked up a Dean King. In my opinion, its a far better guitar for today. Jackson, once it was bought out really didnt advance as much but the Dean in my bood beats anything that esp or jackson has.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. Dean and Jackson deffinatly have a different feel. Personally, what weighed in on my choosing was the cord jack. On a Jackson King V it is on the lower fin and makes if almost impossible to sit and play where the Dean King V was on the top.
