Hmm, I was a kid at the time of these scenes, yet when I see this video something becomes obvious: In the golden age of wrestling, several of the chatacters were able to touch me deeply on a emotional level. That just does'nt happen today. The saga of Savage/Elisabeth made people cry, it was very touching and engaging. Todays "storylines" lasts for a few weeks at most. I miss this side of wrestling so much, where wrestlers had such characters that there was a continuity for years and years....
Savage and Liz together HOF 2012..Only problem is they have to take a backseat to The Rock. Don't get me wrong, Rocky deserves to headline in his hometown, but Savage should of gone in decades ago.

I think there are 3 people that could possibly induct Liz in the HOF. Randy Savage (we all know the history and he is talking about 2011 being "his" year.) Howard Finkel (who started calling Liz "the First Lady of Wrestling".) or Gene Okerlund (who was always very fond of Liz and had some of the best interviews with her.) Vince could also induct her, since he and Savage seem to be mending fences. My ULTIMATE prediction. Randy Savage and Liz will be inducted in the 2011 Hall of Fame.

I have a bias for wrestlers and Liz was a manager but I guess it is appropriate for Liz to be next; to be frank, if Madusa was not the likely next woman wrestler--as opposed to someone like Bull Nakano or Lita I would have second thoughts about it; but Liz was an integral part of the 80's WWF scene. As Randy Savage would have said, I don't think Bull Naknakankno would mind stepping aside for her; can't say the same for Maldusa Blayze.
If Lita was announced as the next woman to be inducted i would be very disapointed! Same goes for Trish! It isn't their time yet.. I don't think Madusa would have a problem with Liz going in 1st. She always said Wendi Richter deserved to be in there before her.. WWE have added Madusa to the alumni now so seemed to have patched things up so i wouldn't be suprised if she will be in next..
Remember: Wendi was a wrestling star before Madusa; in fact, arguably the greatest women's wrestling star in WWE history although the Trish fans will dispute that--Liz was a manager--big difference. Elizabeth definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I think, deep down, that the Macho Man Randy Savage was the only man that she ever really loved and even after their divorce, she still loved him. I know he loved her and during those years when he was with Sherri, it had to be tough on screen for Macho to put down Elizabeth but I'm glad they got their reunion. Induct both Macho Man Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Class of 2008!! Make it happen!
Especially considering it would be the 20th Anniversary of Savage become the 1st ever Undisputed Champion of the World Wrestling Federation when he defeated not one, not two, not three, but four different superstars in the same night at WrestleMania IV. A feat which is still unprecedented today. Also, the ceremony is in Miami, which is near Sarasota...provided Savage wants in, he should be let in.

I agree she belongs in the HoF. Hogan and Andre are in and they set the standards typically for males and she set them for the females. Just because Macho is a lil "cookoo" shouldn't prevent her from entering. I believe the chance, like we never thought we'd see Bret in the Hall of Fame.

Miss Elizabeth had beauty, grace, class, and heart and that is what sets her apart from the other women in wrestling. She managed the biggest names in the wrestling industry. This lady evolved as a manager from her days in the WWF where she captured everyones heart to her days in WCW where she became a knowledgeable manager when she interfered in matches and was successful. What I admire the most about this wonderful lady, is how the audience connected to her. She was real and special lady.

As for Owen, & the Martha case...how about inducting Stu Hart, and legacy of his promotion (Owen,Britsh BullDog,and others) as a safe gard for Owen, since Martha will not allow it the induction,(now heres the safe gard so that Owen will not beforgotten), and apart of Stu's legacy. If wasnt for Stu selling the Western Can, territory 2 WWE wouldnt be nationwide thur out North America back in the late 80's long story short...Induct Stu Hart & legacy

Me too. I cried for days when I found out she died, and I hardly ever cried that long when my favorite wrestling personalities died (other than Eddie Guerrero)
It's been 5 years now since Liz was taken from us... she is LONG overdue for a HOF induction! But it won't happen anytime soon, cause that asshole Vince won't let Savage induct her simply because they don't get along. I was about 6 or 7 when I first seen her and she was SO beautiful and glamorous she took my breath away! I would watch wresting all threw the 80's just to see her. I loved the way she seemed to have a heart of gold and would always cover her man when he was hurt. I miss you Elizabeth! May you Rest in Peace.

Elizabeth definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I think, deep down, that the Macho Man Randy Savage was the only man that she ever really loved and even after their divorce, she still loved him. I know he loved her and during those years when he was with Sherri, it had to be tough on screen for Macho to put down Elizabeth but I'm glad they got their reunion. Induct both Macho Man Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Class of 2008!! Make it happen!

Especially considering it would be the 20th Anniversary of Savage become the 1st ever Undisputed Champion of the World Wrestling Federation when he defeated not one, not two, not three, but four different superstars in the same night at WrestleMania IV. A feat which is still unprecedented today. Also, the ceremony is in Miami, which is near Sarasota...provided Savage wants in, he should be let in.

I agree she belongs in the HoF. Hogan and Andre are in and they set the standards typically for males and she set them for the females. Just because Macho is a lil "cookoo" shouldn't prevent her from entering. I believe the chance, like we never thought we'd see Bret in the Hall of Fame.

don't hold your breath for her getting in. WWE would have to bury the hatchet with Hogan (who's ego's too big), Savage (Who they inexplicably berate every chance they get) and/or Luger (who they assumed killed her in 03).
She was a great center piece to fight for for though.
