I have a 9mm glock 17 cool story.Last yr my 72 yr old father in law was feeling sick in the deer blind.I had my glock 17 in a zipper case hanging on my 4 wheeler. Not knowing that the zipper was still open my brother in law hopped on the 4 wheeler to go get his dad.On the way there he dropped my loaded glock. It was buried in the sand for 2 months on the trail.Finally after a heavy rain my glock re-appeared on the trail. I sent it off to get cleaned & my glock is back! Glock is good my friend.

Well I started by getting the new Savage Edge in .308 and Im on my 10 day waiting period to pick up my new Glock G37 45 GAP I know its not a very common caliber but the stopping power is equal if not better than the 45 ACP( thats just my opinion not a fact, before I get corrected by some of you experts)Thanks Neo

The G23 is my first Glock and it is a bad as gun. Light weight, powerful round, fire power, reliable, accurate. I know what you mean, after I carried this for a while, I started to understand why people love Glocks. I was skeptical at first, but now I'm hooked. I'm planning to get the G30.

don't have much experience with other weapons, but i did shoot my friends glock, think it was a 27? the grip was too fat for my little hands, lol!

@fracwilt if the grip was too big it might have been a glock 22. the 27 is a sub compact. what side arm do you use when you hunt? is that the only one you have?

G23 is a good choice, I agree they are a lot less chunky than the baby glocks. I never really liked any of the subcompact glocks

@neo19209 I was telling ol' mattsplat I was looking for a cheap bolt action rifle since i've never had one, something I could take to the range and shoot distance. He suggested the 17 hmr. Have you shot anything besides that moss 817??? That thing looks killer painted up

@mhayd990 yeah I own 2 .17hmr rifles. the mossberg and a Marlin with a heavy barrel. If you dont mind spending a little more for better quality but still in reason price I would go with the Marlin 917v, better quality better built, and IMO just a bit more accurate cuz of the barrel. But all .17 hmr rifles are super accurate, its the round since its so light and it travels super fast its a hell of an accurate bullet
