we grow fodder beet and have some wasteage issues storing it. How do you guys store it ? cover with straw outside, how deep ? How do you clean the beet enough at harvest. We find soil contamination a problem. crackn vid btw .. just a few dodgy plough pans there though .. !
nothing, we're lucky if we can get it ripped by the time the ground freezes some years. I have heard winter wheat being put in after some early harvests, but it is very rare. Winter wheat is planted after the beans come off.

harvest overseas is really different compared to the red river valley up here in north dakota and or minnesota
