Besides, he's one of the longest breakin 'succesful' bboy in korea, which leads to great experience and such!

I also think Jinjo wouldn't have won this battle if Hong 10 wasn't in there.. Rivers was still better IMO!

I do have to say 2010 wasn't Rivers' year, but every crew has setbacks and they will come back strong. KHCA for an example has been making alot of noise these last few years. Physicx is battling again, Rivers got some new kids in the crew. It might not be the best crew out there right now, but Rivers is definitely not overrated.

jinjo is a stage crew... really commercial and for entertainment purposes only. talented group, but as far as bboying goes, i think rivers takes it. attitude and the incorporation of all the aspects with creativity and interpretation. I think this is what led up to that cypher after too. It makes perfect sense.

i agree with your view of bboying but thats just not the way it is now due to various reasons. i think it's mainly because bboys nowadays, especially korean bboys, are "professional" bboys. they bboy full time to make a living therefore they have to do what they have to do in order to win competitions which are routines and crowd pleasing moves. i love dope powermoves but they gotta have the foundation down first and should be able to freestyle instead of doing sets and routines.
