  • wow nice :), just bought a stinky 08, with mazorachi tripple clamps, etc for 700 cant wait to go pick up it n go riding ^_^

  • do you know what 2011 fox rear shocks would fit in a kona stinky 08 pls reply

  • i would steal that

  • @rbaosbta420 good luck with that, sold it to a guy in spain!

  • @montemini177 aha

  • @montemini177 how much did u sell it for

  • @rbaosbta420 try steal mine i hate people who steal bikes they ruin other peoples lives just to sell a bike for £600 thats worth £1900 people like that scum of the earth

  • i don't like many kona stinkys, but urs is awsome!

  • love to see it you ride it :D

  • @GDzzx Sold it a while back i'm afraid, got a kona operator now

  • hi love the dmr red pedals, how much did you sell the old forks for because want to put some triple clamp forks on :)

  • @jacksg96 Hi there, the zocchie 66's I sold for £180, and the fox 40's I bought for £500

  • Nice upgrades, got the same bike and considering new shocks. How much did you pay in total for the shocks?

  • How much did you pai for thet bike??? -,-

  • I love the 2008 models!

  • hey guys....... is the rear shock used oil or no???? ( cause i begninner )

  • how much you pay for fox rc2?

  • @Grudzieniowy11 £600 just over 1 year ago

  • its a good bike to take it has it cause you any problems with the frame or the suspensions?

  • well betta x :)

  • Whts the rear sus specs? im looking to get muself a new one :)

  • @CORRIEJGREEN Rear travel is 7 inches, and its a fox dhx 3

  • @montemini177 Ta!

  • nice bike how much was the stock bike

  • @alexhsufc I bought the bike new stock 2 years ago for £900

  • doesnt need the 40 at all

40s are best for racing and heavy freeride so putting them on a single pivot fr bike like that is useless you could have used the 700 bucks for more worth while upgrages like a front chain guide and a short cage derailler

    u also should have got a 888

  • @CheungAndAdjey 40 arn't a 'heavy freeride' fork, they are pure downhill. And 1) it isn't your bike so stop the hating, 2) I don't own this anymore, I have a kona operator supreme, 3) a 888 is the most common fork on a stinky, and they suck at downhill.

  • @montemini177 if u planed to race that bike you should have got a dh bike not a single pivot fr bike bud

  • @CheungAndAdjey 1) THIS IS NOW SOLD - READ BEFORE COMMENTING! 2) I now have an kona operator supreme for racing and 3) Single pivot are both serious downhill and freeride designs, look at the giant glory and trek session 88, same price as my supreme operator and all single pivot. Plus a demo isn't single pivot and that is a freeride bike

  • @montemini177 what ever bro i just wouldnt buy a stinky to race with it

  • @CheungAndAdjey From your knowledge you don't know much about racing and bikes, and your 14 which is to young for racing.. Its not the bike its the rider on the bike

  • @montemini177 how can you say 888s suck at downhill they have won a lot more world comps then any other fork. the 888s rule at downhill .

  • @TheKonaman66 Ok then smart arse, what do marazzochi say about the 888 on their website? FREERIDE FORK. Oh and what fork does minar, hill, athertons, peaty e.t.c use? I think its the 40's and boxxers not 888 which are FREERIDE orientated. Only team CRC use 888's. Try getting your knownledge right before commenting pal. End of the day, 40's and boxxers are better for downhill. Second to that, this bike is sold and i've got a operator supreme with BOXXERS

  • how much you gave for last fork?...and you should buy a guide to Chain

  • @bikemylifestyle1997 The marzocchi was sold for £250, the fox 40 was bought for £700, Entire bike is now FOR SALE at £1250. And i've got a kona operator supreme now, so no upgrades for this

  • @montemini177 was a good bike?(stinky)

  • @bikemylifestyle1997 It was a nice bike, great for beginers and the upgrades allowed for racing

  • *FOR SALE*

  • Yeah, probably his

  • just bought 1 :O)

  • I love Kona Stinky. I like your bike !!!!

  • im planning the build a kona stinky what sort of forks should i buy thanx

  • @mtberfreer Depends what you will use it for. For freeride, marzocchi 888, for downhill 2010 rochshox boxxers or if you can afford it fox 40 rc2

  • look like a down hill bike

  • @RCBASHERTRUCK Because it is

  • yo im plannig on gettin kona sinky and upgrading the back shock to fox dhx 4 on 17 inch bike can you help????

  • @ranbow138 Sure, what you need help with?

  • @AsianAnimeRuLe Santa cruz bullet aint a dh bike

  • Comment removed

  • @AsianAnimeRuLe 1) I race, so I know whats a good dh bike and what isn't, and a s.c bullet IS NOT A DOWNHILL BIKE.. Demo's, santa cruz v-10, trek session 88 ARE downhill bikes.

    2) It is now sold, and i've got a 2011 kona operator supreme

  • Comment removed

  • @AsianAnimeRuLe A stinky and norco's arnt downhill bikes you fag, and your bullet is what you cal FREERIDE not DOWNHILL. Take it from someone that knows

  • Whats the size of ur new rear shock? Sick! ;) best bike evar

  • @CORRIEJGREEN its 215 x 63 (mm) :)

  • Wow looks awesome man :)

  • @execyuter Thanks :)

  • dude if you were gonne spend like an extra 2k buying 40's and a dhx shock, why didnt you buy a stab? i mean your obviosly looking to set this up for dh right?

  • @frankster262 For a start the weight, and the i've never liked the stab frame. I always prefer smaller frames as they are easier to throw around on a downhill track, and move manouverable in the air. And not many people run stinky's with 40's and a dhx in the UK, so makes it alot rarer

  • @montemini177 hmm.. awsome

  • @montemini177 ....not many people run stinkys with 40s for a good reason..... there are so many other outstanding frames out there to attach them too.....

  • @stinkyboy2007 There is, but i like it

  • You should get a pair of these bars in Rum Red:

    raceface.com/components/handlebars/atlas/atlas-fr-riser/

    And these wheels:

    dtswiss.com/Products/Wheels/FR-wheels/FR-2350.aspx

I think that would be sick.

  • @camgoalie Bars are fine, and i'm getting some deemax rims in silver

  • is there new bars too

  • @konastinkyable Nope, still the origional kona bars

  • on the fork dose the double crown hit the frame if you turn hard on trail or is that not likely at all thanks

  • @TeamKonabikes Do you mean the stantions? (long gold bits that more up and down)... If so then not really, on slower trails with alot of sharp turns at low speed you sometime hit it, but 90% of the time its fine.

  • How do you like the fork?

Ive heard it needs to be rebuilt alot.

  • @camgoalie2 Love the 40, service around every 4-5months (seals e.t.c)

  • Lovely video & lovely bike :)

and nice song choice ;) x
