@rbaosbta420 try steal mine i hate people who steal bikes they ruin other peoples lives just to sell a bike for £600 thats worth £1900 people like that scum of the earth
40s are best for racing and heavy freeride so putting them on a single pivot fr bike like that is useless you could have used the 700 bucks for more worth while upgrages like a front chain guide and a short cage derailler
@CheungAndAdjey 40 arn't a 'heavy freeride' fork, they are pure downhill. And 1) it isn't your bike so stop the hating, 2) I don't own this anymore, I have a kona operator supreme, 3) a 888 is the most common fork on a stinky, and they suck at downhill.
@CheungAndAdjey 1) THIS IS NOW SOLD - READ BEFORE COMMENTING! 2) I now have an kona operator supreme for racing and 3) Single pivot are both serious downhill and freeride designs, look at the giant glory and trek session 88, same price as my supreme operator and all single pivot. Plus a demo isn't single pivot and that is a freeride bike
@CheungAndAdjey From your knowledge you don't know much about racing and bikes, and your 14 which is to young for racing.. Its not the bike its the rider on the bike
@TheKonaman66 Ok then smart arse, what do marazzochi say about the 888 on their website? FREERIDE FORK. Oh and what fork does minar, hill, athertons, peaty e.t.c use? I think its the 40's and boxxers not 888 which are FREERIDE orientated. Only team CRC use 888's. Try getting your knownledge right before commenting pal. End of the day, 40's and boxxers are better for downhill. Second to that, this bike is sold and i've got a operator supreme with BOXXERS
@bikemylifestyle1997 The marzocchi was sold for £250, the fox 40 was bought for £700, Entire bike is now FOR SALE at £1250. And i've got a kona operator supreme now, so no upgrades for this
@AsianAnimeRuLe 1) I race, so I know whats a good dh bike and what isn't, and a s.c bullet IS NOT A DOWNHILL BIKE.. Demo's, santa cruz v-10, trek session 88 ARE downhill bikes.
2) It is now sold, and i've got a 2011 kona operator supreme
@AsianAnimeRuLe A stinky and norco's arnt downhill bikes you fag, and your bullet is what you cal FREERIDE not DOWNHILL. Take it from someone that knows
dude if you were gonne spend like an extra 2k buying 40's and a dhx shock, why didnt you buy a stab? i mean your obviosly looking to set this up for dh right?
@frankster262 For a start the weight, and the i've never liked the stab frame. I always prefer smaller frames as they are easier to throw around on a downhill track, and move manouverable in the air. And not many people run stinky's with 40's and a dhx in the UK, so makes it alot rarer
@montemini177 ....not many people run stinkys with 40s for a good reason..... there are so many other outstanding frames out there to attach them too.....
@TeamKonabikes Do you mean the stantions? (long gold bits that more up and down)... If so then not really, on slower trails with alot of sharp turns at low speed you sometime hit it, but 90% of the time its fine.

You should get a pair of these bars in Rum Red:
raceface.com/components/handlebars/atlas/atlas-fr-riser/
And these wheels:
dtswiss.com/Products/Wheels/FR-wheels/FR-2350.aspx
I think that would be sick.
