I dont get it?? whats wrong with getting a automatic?? its easier to drive, better gas, and its safer!! you also get a remote starter which you cant get on a manual transmission, Cruise control! faster 0-60 time! sounds like a win to me
When evenly equipped (gear ratios and number of gears), a manual will be faster than an automatic any day when driven right - same goes for fuel mileage. I dare any automatic to have a higher reliability than a manual on top of that before a rebuild is needed. The problem with today's society is that everyone has become too accustomed to the ways of "it's easier" instead of learning how to drive a manual and appreciate what a competent driver can do with one,,,,,
@HorsepowerAddiction That is true! but if your like me, when i get this car i plan on driving it everywhere, this is going to be my everyday car so i will be driving it all of the time which includes in snow, sleet, hail, rain, to and back from work, to school, etc...... correct me if i'm wrong but most people that buy the manual transmission version have more then one car, does alot of racing on there spare time, uses this car at a special time or to show off or does not have to deal with bad
@HorsepowerAddiction weather!! i just think its better for some people to get the automatic! i just hate when people diss the automatic, sometimes its the best choice, theres nothing wrong with the manual, its just that the automatic has good perks! if your in my situation the automatic is safer and a smarter choice, You just cant beat that remote starter!!
I understand what you're saying. Of the 5 vehicles I have - 1 is an auto (because of a good deal), and my bikes are manuals by default. I'm on the extreme side but I've been burned by quite a few autos: torque converter went bad, multiple electronic parts gone bad, valve body causing shift issues, ect. I've gotten to the point where I don't trust them up to or past ~150k miles. Remote start is nice, but 2 of my manuals have it. If I lived in LA or NYC - I probably would LOVE an auto
I will admit I'm starting to like the exterior styling but I will always hate the interior. If I got a Camaro it would have to be a SS and it would have to be equipped with the 6-Speed stick.

The new camaros are so ugly. I love every kind of car but its seriously ugly inside and outside. The performance isnt amazing either. I hate to say it but american car makers just arent cutting it for me. The nicest and best performing cars to get now are european cars. Japaneses car seem too cheap to me, so european cars are the way to go.
i just go my license and my parents bought me this car. i have the 2ss with rs trim package. already almost crashed it on the freeway doing 130km.. Dont tell anyone lmao
hell ya man. I drive a truck right now, which I think is the absolute best thing you can have over shitty cars you dont want. But when im outa school in a few years, I am getting a camaro myself
