Those Avocado trees definitely won't produce fruit unless you graft them. I have a couple small plants that are about ready to get grafted and one already 4 foot grafted tree that I plan to use to get the scions for the lil plants.
when i saw all those seeds, i thought of a marijuana plant-growing den. i don't think those seeds will generate any fruits for guacamole. i hope you're not serious.
I cannot seem to grow an avocado from a seed at all. The seeds ROT or DIE or do NOTHING. I hope I can find the perfect and best way to grow them from seed! You have a wonderful green thumb there! WOW.
Try this , buy a advocado fruit . Eat it and take out the seed.
Take 3 little tooth picks put 3 of them in the middle of the advocado seeds so it can hang over the top of the glass with the flat shape of the advocado to the bottom of the glass. Fill the glass with water so halve of the advocado is wet .
Make sure to put the glass with the advocado in a dark place and not to cold and fresh water every day!. When it shot a long root and its coming out put it in solid ground
Hey I'm very interested in growing avocado plants, but you said you need to put the glass of water with the seed in a dark place... I thought you had to have it outside where it can get some solar light??? So you suggest it's better to put it in a place where it gets no light?
Hi, I live in London, I just throw the Avocado stones out the kitchen window, into the garden and they grow. They will probably never produce fruit in this climate, but they grow. Start them in soil, mumma nature knows best x
This is fabulous...but none will produce fruit unless grafted from an avocado bearing tree. Small trees can be purchased for about $15 in California...that's where I got mine.
This method will, however become very pretty house plants :-)
Well thanks for helping fight global warming did you know 1 tree produces 1/2 pound of oxygen a day and a person needs 2 pounds of oxygen a day to survive.
i have grown tree for number of years but it does not bear fruit yet. Kindly advice. You must have a huge garden to plant so many seedlings.Keep growing n share the fruit
sweet I'm doing this too! I've got four here now!

@liahmarrow That's kinda not true. I put my seeds by a sunny window and they germinated very quickly.
