I appreciate another custom robo player posting a vid, but you don't give enough credit to Ray Warrior. I personaly think he's the best robo and can show you why if you'd like. You just need the right parts and style.
Also Afterburner, Not the best gun to use. You missed well over 70% of your shots. It's too slow of a gun. Gattling Gun is also overrated. 8 shots in a strait line is too easy to evade. Sword Storm is also the same way.

It's actually my favorite. ^^; Anyway, He's not really the opposite in stats compared to Ray Legend. In my oppinion, Warrior is just better all around, because he's not really that slow in comparison but is a lot stronger.

Its called skill man. ANYONE can use Wyrm gun and dominate. It takes real skill to complete the story, Grand Battle in particular, without the aid of Illegal Parts, which you needed to do in order to get high enough scores for the Gold Amusement Park trophies. So what about a CHALLENGE? Screw the easy way, that's for pussies. We do things the hardcore way, the way that improves our skills, which allows us to beat the Grand Battle mode completely. To unlock Ray Warrior.
My main combination is: Ray01-Homming Star-Standard X-Seeker F-High Jump. I went through most of story mode and the final boss using this. My second favorite is Halberd-Sniper/Shotgun-Dual-Speed D-Booster. Booster increases his vanishing speed to be crazy fast. Using the Infinite Vanishing technique on certain stage you can cover distances extremely quickly and offensively rushdown any opponents, leaving them with little options to defend.
it was mainly your choice of main gun that hampered you Rahu is too fast for those stalling weapons you should have tried more rapid fire or smart weapons that do a better job at homing on the enemy
In order to get Ray Warrior you must beat All Amusment Park Battles with a gold trophy and in order to get acess to all the Amusment Park Battles you need Gold in every tornament.
Heres something interesting about Ray Legend Due to his poor Defense he makes up for being one of the fastest robos and can airdash five times also whatever bombs pods or gun he is using there power is multiplied by 1.5x times so he is a very offensive robo I hope I could help you.

Rahu III is not a difficult boss? I'd agree with you if I was using illegal weapons as well. But I'm going through it legit and he's kicked my ass about 5 times now. Thank god he always focuses on Marcia...she's the guinea pig.
@Storm3Ryder How is Rahu III Hard??? Rahu I I understand because it was the first encounter and you have weak weapons, but Rahu II & Rahu III are easy. I finished them off the first battle. You have to know how to use certain part combos. I was using the same parts for over half the game with only slight changes. Like I would test out a new gun or bomb, but then I would either set it back or use it for the rest of the game.
Rahu I and II were embarrassingly easy for me, it probably because he wasn't a tank and I expected where he would land and I could corner him. With Rahu III that idea goes right out the window because he is immune to knockdowns.
Seriously, though, I'm speaking from a perspective where it's your first playthrough. Of course we all know all Rahu's are easy the second time around.
I had to use the gatling gun to finally beat him, it was more a suppression technique than anything.

What I did for that was, I used the three way gun and feather legs, with the Ray 01 body for the entire game. So I got used to them and only needed to switch through bombs and pods until I got the spider, then I switched through guns and bombs naturally. Once I got used to these combinations I was able to beat enemies easily.
@jason1164 For Rahu III I used my basic combo of Ray 01, 3 way, Spider, Some bomb thing I forgot what it was..., and Feather legs. Then I kept on boosting through the air, going around and above, continuing to fire my gun repeatedly since 3 way works best when your boosting in the air, while occasionally dropping spider pods and shooting bombs when I got the chance. Double boosting gradually works best, don't just waste the boost after lift, take a second before boosting again, up into a boost.
If anyone is still an active player of this or would like tips, tricks, or good customizations, feel free to msg me, I have some good combinations that could any battle a cake-walk. (Looking for players of this, I havent met anyone who plays this and im a HUGE fan of the GC custom robos.)
I like your pat choices, afterburner has saved me many a battle. I hope you dont take this the wrong way, I dont mean anything bad by it, but Ray Warrior is a good robo from what ive seen. He's Ray 01 with 4.5 def/down and 5 atk (1coll = 200 dmg)

I would never say anyone sucks at games. Your reactions made me laugh though but in a good way. My favorite model is Swift with an instant KO gun, Formula Legs and a Caboose Pod to hit enemies that trail me. I also sometimes mix up what bombs I use but I could shoot a wall bomb and turn around and run. I just like to run but never in First Person >.> I ran into lava that way.
Can't remember Ray Legend, but Ray Warrior is unlocked by getting gold on the final secret tournament where everyone is super powered by Rahu's lair. I think Ray Legend is when you beat the villain's tournament.
Oh and this an alternate ending if you choose to keep clicking "no" when they ask you to go to outside world or not. =p As well i actually challenged myself and beat with Can robo w/ can parts.
Afterburner definately bad choice. The charge attack is meant for defensive purposes as it prevents damage and you go high enough to go over and behind a wall.
my gosh... what do i use to beat the amusement park level and unlock ray warrior, i have got all but him unlocked the natural long way of playing through the game and all, and i just cant seem to get even silver on the amusement park matches.
I have all the parts but ray warrior, he is beast!!!! for my parts i normally use rahu 3 body, wyrm gun, cheetah/wolf spider (depends on the match) pod, grand cross bomb, and ultimate legs. I know its all illegal but put it all together and you get one helluva robo xD
I remember this game. I beat Rahu 3 first time with a Strike-Vanisher robo, I shot with the Dragon Gun, the Delta bomb, dolphin pod and I used the Longdash legs. Inevitably I beat him :D He was tough though =/
Pretty good. In vs mode. If i decide too grab my rahu 3 get my wyrm,treble,ultimate,with penumbra III set up. Best expect one hell of a tough opponent cuz i so far have not been beaten once by anyone who cares enough too play me as that.
Ray Legend is really fun to use. It's like a Little Raider that can actually win a match with a normal gun. Ray Warrior is awesome as well. It's not as fast as Ray Legend, but it matches Ray 01 on speed, and Metal Ox on power. Both really fun to use.

I have a few combinations myself if any of you want to use them. These never fail me, and are I also listed difficulty to use them(1-4, 4 being hardest). Note: all but the last one are legal.
nice combos! but i've used your acrobat, swordstorm combo before and it's kind of pointless, because it homes in on the opponent no matter what, and the acrobat is a bomb used for getting above your opponent and finishing him off with a gun or pod. so may i suggest using a gun that does great in the air: the rayfall?
@OldMcdonald300 The swordstorm has a faster rate of fire while in the air, and the defender is used to get as many in the air as possible. Reflection is for when your opponent get's close. The defender doesn't have that high of a jump, and you can launch yourself a bit higher with the acrobat. The point of the swordstorm is to SPAM the enemy while dodging the enemy's attack simultaneously. Rayfall is good with a animal head type, like seal head.
@OldMcdonald300 Not really, if you're falling to the ground, and an enemy has anticipated your attack (or got really lucky) then you can launch an acrobat at the ground to keep yourself from being harmed, hell if you get good enough you could stay in the air indefinitely, and never even touch the ground!
You Suuuuuuuuuck, Rofl, Jk, I completely understand how it is, But in reality, its not any different from how you'd be forced to play as Ray 01, The only thing about it when facing Rahu III is if your ally AI's are smart enough that round not to get raped so quickly.

Ray Legend is the old Ray Mk II from Custom Robo V2, released only in Japan on the N64. a similar Model, the Ray Mk II of CRA is the same, just a Face mask has been added.
For Ray Warrior,Get a Gold On all missions. you will unlock a "Bronze Battle" at the Amusement park outside of the dome. Get a gold on that to get the Silver. Get gold on THAT for the Gold battle. get a Gold on that one, and talk to the Guard at the front of the Amusement park, and he gives you the Warrior.
You don't suck at this, you almost had him, even though the afterburner was a really bad choice cause you didn't have good timing with it and he moves a lot.
And by the way, this boss is hard if you don't use illegal parts or if you fight him 1 on 1.
Honestly, It was partly your fault that you lost.. Ray warrior IS pretty much rivaled to Rahu III's stats, but the afterburner really isn't a gret choice compared to all the illegal guns you have. (Well, supposed to have.. If you didn't then that has to be the oddest glitch I've ever seen.)

I would never say anyone sucks at games. Your reactions made me laugh though but in a good way. My favorite model is Swift with an instant KO gun, Formula Legs and a Caboose Pod to hit enemies that trail me. I also sometimes mix up what bombs I use but I could shoot a wall bomb and turn around and run. I just like to run but never in First Person >.> I ran into lava that way.

@Dragonicafan Use Dolphin. It's a gamecube and wii emulator. Your pc needs to be great to run even the gamecube games though.

Can't remember Ray Legend, but Ray Warrior is unlocked by getting gold on the final secret tournament where everyone is super powered by Rahu's lair. I think Ray Legend is when you beat the villain's tournament.

Afterburner definately bad choice. The charge attack is meant for defensive purposes as it prevents damage and you go high enough to go over and behind a wall.

if you want to get rahu follow these steps:
rahu I: go to isabella's mansion and go inside the green tank and press a at one of the walls (i cant describe how to get in)
rahu II: when its time to fight lucy in the bronze handicap, keep talking to her until she gives you rahu II
rahu III: look in the carriage at the silver battle royale

Just start with basic parts like the Ray 01, with the Gatling Gun, Freeze Bomb, Dolphin Pod, and with either Long Thrust or Formula legs.
Then a strong defensive body with a powerful gun like the sniper.
Then a quick combo like shrike and stun
Then a strike vanisher with the flame
Then a strong attack body with the dragon gun

my gosh... what do i use to beat the amusement park level and unlock ray warrior, i have got all but him unlocked the natural long way of playing through the game and all, and i just cant seem to get even silver on the amusement park matches.

I have all the parts but ray warrior, he is beast!!!! for my parts i normally use rahu 3 body, wyrm gun, cheetah/wolf spider (depends on the match) pod, grand cross bomb, and ultimate legs. I know its all illegal but put it all together and you get one helluva robo xD

I remember this game. I beat Rahu 3 first time with a Strike-Vanisher robo, I shot with the Dragon Gun, the Delta bomb, dolphin pod and I used the Longdash legs. Inevitably I beat him :D He was tough though =/

Pretty good. In vs mode. If i decide too grab my rahu 3 get my wyrm,treble,ultimate,with penumbra III set up. Best expect one hell of a tough opponent cuz i so far have not been beaten once by anyone who cares enough too play me as that.

Ray Legend is really fun to use. It's like a Little Raider that can actually win a match with a normal gun. Ray Warrior is awesome as well. It's not as fast as Ray Legend, but it matches Ray 01 on speed, and Metal Ox on power. Both really fun to use.

I have a few combinations myself if any of you want to use them. These never fail me, and are I also listed difficulty to use them(1-4, 4 being hardest). Note: all but the last one are legal.
1: defender, swordstorm, acrobat, reflection, longthrust
1: seeker, eagle, standard S, sky freeze, long thrust
3: breaker, afterburner, standard F, caboose X, long thrust
4: swift, drill, straight S, ground freeze or Seeker F, formula
2: Ray Legend, wyrm, wyvern, wolf spider, booster or raven

nice combos! but i've used your acrobat, swordstorm combo before and it's kind of pointless, because it homes in on the opponent no matter what, and the acrobat is a bomb used for getting above your opponent and finishing him off with a gun or pod. so may i suggest using a gun that does great in the air: the rayfall?

@OldMcdonald300 The swordstorm has a faster rate of fire while in the air, and the defender is used to get as many in the air as possible. Reflection is for when your opponent get's close. The defender doesn't have that high of a jump, and you can launch yourself a bit higher with the acrobat. The point of the swordstorm is to SPAM the enemy while dodging the enemy's attack simultaneously. Rayfall is good with a animal head type, like seal head.

@OldMcdonald300 Not really, if you're falling to the ground, and an enemy has anticipated your attack (or got really lucky) then you can launch an acrobat at the ground to keep yourself from being harmed, hell if you get good enough you could stay in the air indefinitely, and never even touch the ground!

You Suuuuuuuuuck, Rofl, Jk, I completely understand how it is, But in reality, its not any different from how you'd be forced to play as Ray 01, The only thing about it when facing Rahu III is if your ally AI's are smart enough that round not to get raped so quickly.

Robo Tips:
-Whenever using Ray Legend, treat it like a Little Raider. the stats are very Similar.
Robo Eggs:
Ray Legend is the old Ray Mk II from Custom Robo V2, released only in Japan on the N64. a similar Model, the Ray Mk II of CRA is the same, just a Face mask has been added.

For Ray Warrior,Get a Gold On all missions. you will unlock a "Bronze Battle" at the Amusement park outside of the dome. Get a gold on that to get the Silver. Get gold on THAT for the Gold battle. get a Gold on that one, and talk to the Guard at the front of the Amusement park, and he gives you the Warrior.

You don't suck at this, you almost had him, even though the afterburner was a really bad choice cause you didn't have good timing with it and he moves a lot.
And by the way, this boss is hard if you don't use illegal parts or if you fight him 1 on 1.

Honestly, It was partly your fault that you lost.. Ray warrior IS pretty much rivaled to Rahu III's stats, but the afterburner really isn't a gret choice compared to all the illegal guns you have. (Well, supposed to have.. If you didn't then that has to be the oddest glitch I've ever seen.)

Depends on your preference. But statistically Ray Warrior is better. It has the stats to rival Rahu 3.

You find them in sets:
V1: Get from lucy before fighting her in the bathroom handicap match in the outerworld.
V2: Find in Eliza's room I think. The one with huge tank. Go inside the tank and face foward and hit A.
V3: Go to the final tournament in the outer world and you will see a trolley get inside and hit A.
