The guys are neither Rockabilly nor Ska. They sound more like the first type of Rock n Roll: Jump Blues. Louis Jordan, Earl Bostic, Ruth Brown, Early Ray Charles, Arnett Cobb, Wynonie Harris, etc. Basically, during WWII, it was hard to keep a big band together because a lot of musicians were drafted. So they started playing in small rhythm combos instead.

i think there must be a little bit feeling for what music comes to your ear and this is not Ska-Punk. And its not psychobilly. psychobilly is something like meteors, nekromantix, there are more effects of horror, espacielly in the texts! kings of nuthin are singing about bars and citys and broken lifes, but not about horrorfilms or something else. KoN are a mix of Punk and Rockabilly. Its R&B. And they call it also R&B on their myspace-site.
