Baja boats do not suck and the 24 is a great offshore boat. I was running 65mph over 3-4 ft seas in the gulf of mexico on a baja 235 force. The 23-24 was the perfect size for those conditions and just flew over the waves. I guess you just have to know how to drive an offshore boat. Anyone that says the 24 is not good for offfshore Learn how to drive or shut the fuc Up.

I know this is an old video but what kind of speed are you getting out of your H2x? And dont mind the haters making comments, they seem jealous of the boat, I get it all the time. My dad bought me a 99 H2x when I was 14 and I still have the boat to this day, after having the motor rebuilt and adding Stainless Marine headers Im pushing 746HP and running in the upper 80 mph range. Baja or not, I love my boat and the H2X is the perfect combo of speed and sport. That being said, nice boat....

Totally agree ! I have a 2000 Outlaw 26 with a 502 engine and it's a kick in the butt ! Very stable, fast (72 mph )and combined with 1300 Watts of Stereo, makes for a killer day at the lake ! Not sure who said it was a shit, but they obviously DONT have one OR had a bad experience.

I do know about the outlaw hull and even a 36 at 75 is 10 times the handfull that any other straight V or pad V is of similar size... id take a velocity over a baja any day... and to medium pimpin vac bagging is far supperior to hand laid due to complete wetout of meterial and its almost impossible to get a proper vac bag process without being hand laid and atleast rolled out otherwise the vac would create wrinkles doe to un even meterial layout such as with chopper gun..

Baja builds a much better boat now. Lighter and stronger with vacuum-bagging and the new VP of Ops has been running the Outlaw line through the wind tunnel to find even more speed. I think they should go to the step bottom but Baja says no. Fountain has proven step boats can handle as well as straight Vs.

NOPE NOT TRUE... steps can be faster under certian conditions but there are trade offs...  they exhibit handeling quirks at certain speeds and tend to hickup at times in sharp turns... and V hulls dont because you dont have the turbulence off the step going into the prop.

Steps are faster than straight Vs in light chop but rough water evens the playing field. One trick is to put a step in the bow to keep the nose up in hard turns. Sunsation has done this on their new 43' F4 to great effect. It works. I never thought about step turbulence affecting handling.
