I was there that day,lost my vioce lol and i'm at the fence 7:21 all in all i love southwick i'm so lucky i live about a 2 hours away from there and that i race there at ncsc motocross series

Help me out folks.. I thought John Dowd was crippled and broke his back a few years ago...Or am I thinking of someone else......

@avionicswirenut From what I've read Dowd the "Junkyard Dog" is still kickin' even at 45 years of age which is cool because I'm close to his age and hope I never quit wanting to ride,but I didn't realize he was still racing professionally.

@avionicswirenut LOL No you are right this time. I actually found this on the net "Henry broke his back on March 4, 2007, in a Supermoto race.[2], he now suffers partial paralysis from the waist down, and is working very hard toward yet another recovery.

Henry was filmed on September 14, 2009 riding a custom YZ450F and a custom FX Nytro during winter.

Henry raced at Winter X-Games 14, in the "Adaptive Snowmobile" class. He took Third place."

His home burned down Wednesday!! What luck!

@kwalbers1964 He has had bad luck....If you remember, he broke both wrist during the outdoor series back in the late 90's or early 00's....It was also Henry, when he was on Honda in the late 90's, had his throttle stick on a very large jump in one of the outdoor races...I think he broke his back then, but recovered.

@TheLOcovx he will not race this season...just few dayz go San Manuel team and James was say that its best to not race on races this year and saneted injury but hes comeing back net season.
