Fidel liberated Cuba from a dictator. He did it with 14 men i want to see bush be a man and do that and go to Irak with 14 men and win a war. I hope bush dies before Fidel.

While, Fidel did liberate Cuba from corrupt dictator Fulgencio Batista, he misled the Cuban people on his intentions, forming a Communist dictatorship, executing opponents, and denying fundamental human rights to his people. You think Bush is bad, try living under Castro's oppresive regime. It makes no sense to topple one dictatoship and establish another.

Castro states that he expects that people obey him like a child to a father. I don't necessarirly believe that, but the cubans are willing to do that. They lived under poverty when Batista was in power so when Castro arrived,they welcomed him. Now even though people are not in "our" ideal conditions, cubans are all literate, have free health care, and have a clener environment than us. So just b/c our view of a democracy is not met, that doesn't mean we should look down upon others.
