  • How many horsepower was this? Could a 6.5 HP engine accomplish the same performance?

  • I just saw one of these in one of my dads friends garage and its not being used at all and I fell in love with it immediately. I'm writing Santa a letter and giving it to my dad to mail. ;)

  • mad max

  • Dear santa...

  • How about near it? Like IN long Island or somethin?

  • How much money would it take to build something like this? And where could I legally drive it in NYC?

  • @QueWaNe in the city, nowhere

  • @QueWaNe You can drive it anywhere...as long as you don't get caught ;)

  • i have a honda odyssey fl250 and somethings wrong with it, onece it hits a certain speed it doesnt go any faster, the engine will rev and rpms will go up but it doesnt go any faster. does that mean my secondary clutch isnt engaging. its getting really anoying.

  • Wat hp

  • @xnjxrebel you can get throttle cable almost any where online you don't even need perfect spot on length all you need is to find some that is as long or slightly longer that the previous one

  • i hate these go karts well i love em but people want to much for them no one seems to understand you buy it for 2000 and you use it you sell it for 600 no more not 3500 that oh i will buy it use it and make money on it

  • what HP engin is in this

    does this thing have?

  • and that eventually turned into a minivan

  • do you have pictures on how you did the exhaust?

  • what exhaust is on that?

  • @smllsk8er14 It is the stock expansion chamber which has been cut open to have all the baffling removed. The stock silencer/spark arrester was cut off and a piece of bent tubing was welded on along with a silencer from an old rm250. Performance did pick up a bit and the sound did change.

  • i had one of these but we had to sell cause my mom could never start it while my dad was at work :( . i never got to drive it:(

  • needs a better steering wheel if u ask me

  • did it have rear suspension

  • Thanks for the info on the fenders. But also realized you have a different seat. Where did you get it? Does it have a product name?

  • yo go kart looks like it goes slow.

  • How did you make those fenders??

  • @Justinoka The fenders are made from chloroplast. It is the plastic corrugated material that election signs and soda advertisement signs are made from. The material can be cut with a razor blade, creased and folded. It was then bolted on with the original hardware. It is light, durable and cheap. Held up for a few years now. Not as nice as the original plastic but is free not $300.

  • Looks like great fun, and what an area to drive it around!!!

  • @Scott111188 Thanks. It is very fun to drive, but it does beat the snot out of you.

  • @mtpratt32 Where exactly in Greene County PA is this place? Near any towns or cities? I'm trying to find some like this that are local.

  • @Fireheart528 Its near Carmichaels PA. Nearest large towns are Waynesburg about 14 miles and Uniontown 16 miles away. Morgantown WV (small city/verybigtown) home of WVU is about 25 miles away. 60 miles to Pittsburgh.

  • Do those things even have suspension? Looks to me like it was just bouncing around on the tires.

  • @oryangub Your half right, no rear suspension.

  • Gotta love the POSI rear end!

  • looks sweet

  • hey dude. how fast will that thing go. i just got one and was wondering. thanks

  • bull shit fat ass

  • shit man i need a motor for mine what kind do u use

  • It is the stock FL250 engine.

  • @mtpratt32 nice buggy

  • badass.for 600 .

    ?? dame very cheap.

  • that looks awesome, always want one. do they still make them ???

  • They are not made any more. This one is a 1983 and was the second generation of the Odyssey. In '85 they became a 350 with a tube frame and much better front and rear suspension. In '89 they became the Pilot which was even better and was 400cc and liquid cooled. I have wanted a Pilot since '89 but could never afford one new and they are still very pricey used. '90 was the last year made.

  • thanks for the reply, do you know of anyone that makes a new one that worth looking at??

  • Red Line Revolts are the most similar buggies to the Honda Pilot that are made today. They are very nice. I am thinking about getting into one. I bought a RZR so the wife would ride with me but she doesn't. So a single seater would be fine.

  • damn that looks fun as hell.

  • Haha the Back end bouncing is Trademark lol. Awesome place too.

  • Those videos where taken mostly around Stringtown just outside Carmichaels. The locations are the mouth of Muddy Creek where it joins the Mon River, Stringtown Trails, the site where the new waste coal power plant is going to be built and the old Nemicolin Mine Slang/State Pile. These are all connected by trails.

  • gnarly man, i have one of these two, modified with 2500$ into it :D

  • where you riding at?

  • lol i thought is was going to be a mini van off roading lol

  • The Odyssey was a buggy/kart/atv before honda decided to use the name on a minivan. It is Made by Honda.
