yes, it does actually. more so for the lack of diversity then the solo itself, that could be overlooked if the rest of the song had some diversity to it, and was more then just power chords. static-x never was the most musically beautiful group, but they just got lazy with their later work. as for writing a better song, musically speaking, ive written many. profit speaking, i have not. i will give that to them, they are good at selling out.
