There is a bit of misinformation here. Just because a vegetable oil is not hydrogenated doesn't mean it's not a trans-fat. MOST unsaturated fats when heated become trans-fats, even if they are "refined for high heat" . If they are refined for high heat then they are already a trans-fat.
