I read a book based on this event in WWII. It's amazing that while the British were trying to come up with a new plan, the Americans just bombed the place. That's the attitude that makes the US military what it is. Do what needs to be done.

Thank you Norwegians, You helped to stop the Nazi domination of the world. Few people in my country are aware of heroic things done by people in europe that resulted in the defeat of the Nazi regime.

The only thing we did was to sent mexican pilots to fight in the battle for the Phillipines along with US air force.

The Norwegian operation was a success and slowed down the heavy water production with 6 months.

The Norwegians sabotage the factory, ut had to do it a second time. That's whent hey sabotaged the ferry. The Maericans came in after the war and bombed the factory when it was no longer a treat. it was basically the demolition crew. it was the easiest way to get ridd of the factory.

It was the sabotage of the Ferry that stopped the Germans from using the heavy-water storage they had built up, even though they were no-where near making Atomic Bombs, luckily..
