  • Why is such a standard and insignificant hand even on youtube :P

  • lol at the ace being a scare card.

  • Hail, Texas dolly

  • lol at ryan7333. doyle brunson is one of the greatest for good reason. he can raise and bluff with any two. he can play loose aggressive very often. hell commit his chips with a draw and at the same time he can bet big with monsters. its hard to play against someone like him who can have anything at anytime and who also knows how to fold

  • 'big name pros's' are overrated, tv glorified, above average players. Doyle Brunson plays like any run-of-the-mill old grinder, all old players are tight, generally playing their cards and when they bluff they bet more than necessary(doyle bet the pot), but their bluffs will mostly work because they play so tight and weak the rest off the time.

  • @Ryan7333 you're fucking retarded

  • @Ryan7333

    lmao

  • @Ryan7333 Time to shut up Ryan. Doyle Brunson has been a winning poker player for 50+ years. Words you cannot use while talking about the Doyle are "overrated" and "weak". I know you must feel brave grinding out those NL25 tables online, but Doyle would take every penny from your pocket if you ever end up in the same table with him. So again, please be quiet and show some respect.

  • @Ryan7333 LOL WHAT AN IDIOT.

  • Comment removed

  • Why do people say owns when someone just loses 1 hand and not all their chips. Say it when there all in and they lose.

  • not owns. doyle funny.

  • Great Doyle

  • Just lost with my quads to a higher quad! This site has to be fixed!!!

  • Super standard hand people.

  • @PhysicallyStrapped ...troll much....

  • @PhysicallyStrapped

yo momma should die this fucked up old granny, biatch

  • @PhysicallyStrapped wtf is wrong with you? chill motherfucker!

  • @PhysicallyStrapped How can his comment be pointles you obv dont understand basic strategy of poker, and how can you love poker and hate Doyle

  • Nice scare card on the river, plus a damn scary board. Flush draw and straight draw possibilities, I don't think I would have called either. Nice bluff by Doyle, perfect execution, nice value-bluff bet made it look like, I have it son I want you to call me.

  • K9 off...sure in late position against blinds...it was the best hand. Doyle coulda probably re raised and taken it without a flop anyway. The cards in their hands are irrelevant with those 2 holdings. Either one could have re raised pre flop and taken it down with a big enough bet. I woulda raised the cut off against a tight player with 7-2 in that position.

  • Doyle`s fingers are just huge wrinkles. Disgusting

  • K9 off? er OK!

  • I didn't really understood what happened. Could anyone explain to me? I'd appreciate it. :D

  • @chungalungas Fischman had the best hand (pair of nines), but brunson made him fold it with a bluff.

  • @ht3213 ROFL! Thanks bro!

  • before 3 betting was regular, before small ball, before the meta-game ("leveling") and way before the level of play today -- which is amazing. those guys who reached the final table this year were outstanding. the future of poker will be dominated by 20-somethings and internet wizards. i look forward to how the big name pros respond.

  • @tedwilli9 I 100% agree with you.

  • I can't believe Full Tilt Poker gives out 600$ when you use the Referral Code: FTUS600

  • Yes, signing up with the referral code: FTUS600 at Full Tilt Poker really does get you 600$. My friend did it last week.

  • Should change his name to Fischboy.

  • @DanieINegreanu2323

who are you talking to? you dirty SPAMMER. this shit becomes very obvious dickface , if you and your spamming gay buddies, copy and paste the same message over and over.

  • he had to bet to win it-- thats it

  • Doyle Brunson rullz :)

  • another mistitled poker video.... he wasn't owned idiot

  • thumbs up if you downrate this video because of the ad from this youtube user!

  • I'd be VERY curious in how Daniel Negrenau would play that hand against Doyle

  • @toyotas2006 negreanu would say "wow you must have the 6-7 of diamonds, I call"

  • What did Brunson asked that guy? I didn't get it

  • @DeniskaFromRussia doyle said that he didn't want to see any more diamonds and that there was no need to lie about his hand...i guess doyle was pretending he had a flush.

  • thats what you get for playing your tp with an ok kicker scary. No c bet on flop means loss of pot control, the rest is pretty standard

  • "He's seen a lot of online hands, but he's never seen Doyle there."

  • when doyle bets turn representing straight fishman called so doyle put him on an ace flush draw or something and he value bets the river to make him to lay down his hand nice play.

  • this wasnt a big deal at all, an everyday poker play haha

  • Are you kidding me ?? Scott Fischman = donk ??? Idiots who say that is nothing just... idiots ! Except his surname there is nothing "donky" about him. Just because Doyle is damn good doesn't mean Fischman is bad. That was good bluff out of position and no wonder, that Fischman did not get with it. He just couldn't get a good read and didn't want to risk. Not a bad play at all, just Doyle played better.

  • Doyle is not the same without his cowboy hat...

  • he hardly owned him, but it was still a pretty good bluff. I'd probably fold to Doyle too.

  • Whre was Brunson's cowboy hat?

  • @HalaBustami

You're going to be old one day too bud.

  • dddd

  • Thats standart, lol

  • Doyle's hands look like hooks!

  • hardly owned he only had 2nd highest pair, there was a 4 card straight and 3 flush cards. You wouldnt bet out with a flush on the flop and Doyle didnt but then made to consecutive bets standard play for flush. There was 8K in the pot and Doyle bet 15K such an over bet isnt worth calling off his chips for...

  • 13800 in the pot

  • I dunnow why they thumb you down, I might not totally agree but you definitely got a point somehow. One thumb up for me, only dislike your youtube name...

  • Sometimes Poker is not about mathematics, outs, probabilities or luck, its just about making the other guy doubt himself, and when he does that fish is landed.

  • youtube pros....

  • doyle could have had a pair of 7's after fishman raised pre-flop. he could also have hit a flush or a set after flop or he could have had ace, six or similar combo pre flop. so many possibilities. fishman should have bet after the flop as he had high pair with king kicker. if the bet was big enough, doyle would have folded i'm sure.

  • Why didn't Scott bet the flop to find out where he was? He did have top pair, second best kicker after all. I think he was intimidated because Doyle called, hell I think I would be, but you have to put that at the back of your mind.

  • yeah I agree. a somewhat scary flop but you know how hard it is to flop top pair? scott overthought the situation. in the SB there's reason to think its unlikely Doyle holds a 7 after the turn made the 4 straight, and if he really did catch an ace on the river I would think doyle would check it for showdown value, figuring he's not going to get called at the river by something less than a pair of aces. fischman has a nice resume but I dont understand his thought process in this hand

  • Doyle bets and I'd fold. Just out of respect.

  • Pot Control, he didn't want to be check raised off top pair by a diamond draw. He was planning to bet the turn.

  • What if Scott Fischman had the A, how can Doyle know ?, Does anybody know ?, how does he do that?

  • I hate to be blasphemous here, but come on--was he supposed to give up on his bluff? He got a perfect card to continue with, and he bet. If anyone here would have checked that river with Q high, you're doing it wrong.

  • Doyle's the MAN....bend over young man and I'll try this for size......back to the net , where the fish live...

  • ur the idiot who is telling everyone what we already know ...respect to doyle i was pointing out what i thought were tells and now some jazz dude is hatin on my reads wtf

  • A classic example of Mr. Brunson's legendary theory about hold'em from Super System. Aggression wins. He never let Scott take charge of the hand after the initial check, and never let Scott take advantage of position. He read weakness, and hammered away. Nicely done.

  • i like it too..perfect play..then the speech afterwards to confirm his read was right...classic doyle

  • you want a tell i can tell ur a joke poker player if you even know what a 1/2 cent game get on my level man

  • Doyle without a cowboy hat looks just..weird

  • wow aren't you the king of poker and reading! you can even read the biggest legend in the game! you're that good! that's why he's there and you're writing on youtube! i bet you catch loads of bluffers when you can see all hole cards! give us all a break and go preach your nonsense to your pals on home games.

Go Big Pappa! No one reads a hand like Doyle!

  • @jazzkarloz You talk big, and with reason, but you do realize these people aren't the best at what they do right? There are people who don't bother even playing poker, yet could read Doyle 5 hands before he did something tricky. It just happens that people who are good at reading do good at poker.

  • @jazzkarloz yeah, i hate youtube geniuses. Everyone acts so smart when they can see all the whole cards LOL.

  • His play looks strong imo

  • lol, i love it. A youtube comment pro poker player talking about tells.

Tells are not only the most overrated thing that Hollywood ever depicted, but saying Doyle Brunson has tells or even that he looked weak is a joke. Go back to losing money in 1/2 cent games pal.

  • u fucking idiot bruson owns fishman like the donkey he is

  • A "donkey" with two bracelets who was playing against one of the greatest poker players of all time. Fischman's no donk he just got outplayed by Doyle Brunson, nothing to be ashamed of.

  • Love watching Doyle play. :)

  • And he didn't bet the flop because he can get check raised by a lot that have 50%+ equity against his top pair on the flop. On the turn it's diff.

    5 6 diamond has 58% equity (9 flush + 3 gutshot + 2 Fives + 2 Sixes = 16 outs). Same thing for 6 7 one diamond.

T J with no diamond has 50% equity. With a diamond it has 68% equity.

A T with one diamond has 53% equity

    89 67 obviously

The only hand that's going to check call his bet is 9T. Everything else is going to raise = no value in betting.

  • theres more than that.. goin on

  • The reason why you don't raise is because you don't want to turn your hand into a bluff.

Fischman made the right decision by just calling because you want to get value from a bluff but also want to exercise pot control with a marginal hand. (Marginal because of the board texture. Doyle only has a bluff or a straight and very rarely a semibluff)

Whether or not he should call on the river depends on Doyle's bluffing frequency, not the fact that you can see the hole cards and see he's bluffing

  • FANTASTIC!!!

  • how come after that hand hes putting a finger on his nose?

  • Doyle pwns.

Fischman made a pretty standard laydown and he is a good player... but he's still a punk and a loser for being part of "the crew" with the lowlife crook Dutch Boyd. Look up the "PokerSpot" scam if u want to see what I'm talking about.

  • everything in the world beat fishman there. It's a good lay down, he backed himself into the corner by playing the hand so weak.

  • Seeing Doyle across the table would be like pitching to Babe Ruth.

  • For Premier leagues tips and big cash poker bonuses visit w w w. bet back of the. net

  • I agree he should have bet the flop, if for nothing else, info. I think Fishman was just a little bit intimidated by the sight of Doyle sitting across from him. Hell, most would be.

  • Good to see Youtube's poker "pros" are telling the money-making "amatuers" how to play once again...

  • Fishman is a great player. You can't take that away from him. How many you have never made a bad laydown. For that matter, how many of you even understand this game?

  • truth, it wasn't that bad of a laydown. what utube doesn't get is that these guys study other players habbits, so what doyle did said to scott that he was strong. good bluff by doyle

  • fishmans a fish!!!!!

  • fishmans a fish, man !

  • if you people think he played it so bad then why was he able to take then pot then unlike most people could

  • People are dumb,,, he played it perfect untill the river...

You dont want to make a big pot, with 2 types of draws on the board and all ur holding is top pair..

Check calling is perfect.. If he bluffs, you get vallue and if he decides to check it out,,

You take it cheap.. Anyway, never overprice yourself in a pot where u dont know where you stand!

  • Fishys check on the flop was brutal - you donks have to understand this

  • dude bet the flop! get some info! ur truely a FISH man lol

  • Fishman cant play Poker haha :)

    Doyle is the best Cowboy!

  • the dude shoulda made a nice raise with top pair king kicker, even if he's playing against a pro

  • Haha, are you joking? He should NEVER raise - he will only get called by better hands.

We can discuss whether he should've called or folded, but raising? Never.

Btw. I'd probably fold and get on to the next hand in this situation - it's pretty marginal and a very coordinated board.

  • top pair king kicker...if he raises he will get a read...

  • wheres Doyles cowboy hat?

  • i hate youtube pros

  • its hard to lie about your hand cuz they'll see it later... very expirienced player...

  • LOOOOL, Doyle F'N Brunson is the man, especially after his little talk after the hand.

  • Fischman's tell was his insta-call on the turn...told Doyle he has top pair at the moment. I believe that if that Ace (or another diamond) didn't come on the river Fischman would have called his bet...who knows though.

  • but would doyle bet then? i don´t think so

  • simple continuation bet on the flop and this is avoided. Especially when u hit top pair. Fischman = donk

  • It's a good fold, it's not that great of a bluff, even if doyle was semi bluffing fishman beats next to nothing there. That's a winning fold, sometimes you have to lay down the best hand. If you make that call often you're going to be a losing player.

  • well said, you are exactly right.

  • bad fold i call this every day and twice on sundays

  • Thats why your a donkey and hes a pro haaha FISHY

  • Imao john hahahhaHHAHAHA

  • lol is it a poker joke this, i've heard doyle has died a million times. he's actually alive and kicking.

  • yeah, actually doyle was on a list in some magazine for `people who are most likely to die in 2009`, and he offered a sidebet to the journalist that he won´t, 10 000...

    haha, doyle is great!!!

  • There was so much out there that could beat Fischman, I don't blame the fold. Any two diamonds, any A, any 7, and any pocket pair except 44, 33, or 22. Good play by Doyle, but I wouldn't say it's anything to brag about since Scott didn't have much himself.

  • Loved that play... At the turn, Brunson represented one pair or a flush draw. When Fischman called, it showed that Fischman might have had a weak pair also. And finally at the river, Brunson made it look like he had an Ace or two pairs. very good bluff.

  • Standard play by Doyle, but I don't understand why Fischman didn't bet the flop with that board. He has to protect his hand.

  • he´s fucking scared...

  • fishman is a punk piece of shit anyways

  • fishman should of never checked the flop if he has any sort of that flop hes gonna bet he was the initial raiser as soon as he checks the flop then doyle can easily take the hand.

  • Yeah because you are the one who knows how to beat doyle right

  • Doyle is the fuckin man!

  • good positional bet :)

  • ...thats just a 0815 hand ... nothing special - he can't beat anything exept a bluff ... doyle figured out that fishman maybe had a flushdraw or KQ or smth like that... thats just a usually tournament hand ... nothing special

  • "he has seen alot of hands online, but he has never seen doyle there"... fucking pro as line

  • what does doyle says to fishman? i cant cacht it, i dont know a lot of english. thanks.

  • I don't think I wanted to see another diamond there.

  • thank you very much

  • wow, respect

  • Easy fold. Good bet Doyle.

  • shut up

  • hahah nc com.

  • finger on the nose what a legend

  • It's good to be Doyle.

  • doyle is an legend, fishman had to fold really with the cards that were out and the bets doyle was making it would have been a gret call but you need some big balls lol.

  • I'm not saying that Doyle isn't the best, but there were three diamonds on the flop and doyle made a bet, I give the guy credit for calling that against someone like Doyle I would like to see some of you guys doing that.

  • also the four cards to a straight
