Thank you shawnabloom. I watched the Dreams Come True TWH video for my first time seeing a TWH and was disgusted. But now I see what they're really like. I love them! (NOW!)

I think it was just his gait that made him look lame. The TWH I used to ride ALWAYS looked slightly lame, but it was just the horse's gait.

It was just the Tennessee's gait, I think they look a tad funny in the hind end. I have a TWH and he does the same funny movement back there.

Why would you post on a gaited horse? The point is NOT to have a bounce. That's really weird.

This horse needs head nod and overstride to be performing a true running walk, but he has nice carriage and speed at his gait in this video.

Because it was 4-H not a standard show. 4-H doesn't care the breed, gaited or not, you post. 4-H is not really a place for gaited horses any way though, it was her fault for trying to show him 4-H.

Well the thing is yes they should, but also knowing that 4-H doesn't care about the breed but purely showing for overall quarter horse, arab, paint, ect, ect showing, and handeling, my friend should have shown a none gaited horse. If that makes sense. lol

Thanks! We filmed this video in the middle of January when it was too cold to ride outside. We hadn't ridden him since late summer because we bred several fall mares to him. Needless to say with the cold weather and lack of riding, he felt pretty good that day. We will get more video that will hopefully be better soon.
