Surprised they weren't performing 'The Voice' in relation to the date though cos the single had recently been released (well in the UK that is) about 2 weeks earlier but I guess this was still their new track in Italy. Anyway yeah I've been a massive Ultravox fan since about 1995 (only born in '79!) so love discovering all their original TV appearances and really can't wait for the new album to hopefully be released soon...one of the best bands ever!
Hiya, that's OK regarding the info/detail...more than happy to be of service! I only know that though cos I've seen a slightly different version of this clip on YouTube with the date and name of the show written on the corner of the screen but without the intro/outro from the very wacky presenter which I hadn't seen before - thanks for that! So I linked this TV appearance while the boys were touring Italy as being the day after their concert in Rimini on 7/11/81 cos I have it on audio tape!
