All and all, its okay. Too few people know of Indian Myths and legends and it wasn't a bad idea to tie Slender-Man to the Wendigo. A worthy addition to the Mythos.

Um a windigo is a native American folklore while the slender man is more related to the German folklorean, so to be frank, there is no connection to them both since windigos go for the fact of eating human flesh while the sender man often kidnaps people and kills them (not sure if he does anything more than that) you should have seen the lost tapes show from animal planet to see the difference between the two

What editing software? This was seriously amazing. The beginning was a bit slow, as I have read many others say, but that's in all movies. You need filler. Worth watching it right to the end. Make up effects, and CG were awesome. How did you make the masks and stuff?
@offsideandy Hey, cool to see another filmmaker in the area! We started writing the script in March 2011, filmed from June 1 to August 28, and edited during production and up until the beginning of November. It's shot on a Sony Nex-VG 10. Video is edited with Adobe Premiere, audio edited with Sony Vegas and Cubase. We also used After Effects for some things like masks to remove faces (we put stockings over actors' heads during the shoot), but most effects are just optical tricks.
@VinceEmerson Brilliant work. Very ambitious, I love it. Inspired, independent works always tend to be the most intriguing, in my book. I am not a filmmaker, not yet. But I aspire to be one and am currently workking on a screenplay. This has been great motivation. Thanks a lot.

This movie reminds me of a typical nightmare...long periods of boring stuff, with a few quick but terrifying moments in between, all leading up to a fear-inducing and bone-chilling ending that would normally awaken someone from a nightmare. Good job. Now they need a 2012 version of it...

I'm sorry, but this film wasn't that good. The factoring was what I would expect from a bunch of film students,but than the movie is too slow ,and buildup is poorly place. Than when we finally get to action and the climax, it just doesn't do credit for the slenderman. I'll give you an A for effort, but that is about it. Also the ending was not needed, that ruined it for me completely.

Well after some of the other Slender Movies I've seen, I'll be honest with you here. I went into this not expecting much. So I'll be perfectly honest and say --I enjoyed this. I'm not gonna compare this to the Vlogs because it's a different format so it's incomparable. But as a found footage Slender Man movie it was pretty decent.
Your dialogue was good with only some small traces of narm nearing the end. Some funny dialogue too to boot. Your effects were your own. You made the suspense well

Amazing work. How long did this take you to make? What cameras did you use?
What editing software? This was seriously amazing. The beginning was a bit slow, as I have read many others say, but that's in all movies. You need filler. Worth watching it right to the end. Make up effects, and CG were awesome. How did you make the masks and stuff?

@offsideandy Hey, cool to see another filmmaker in the area! We started writing the script in March 2011, filmed from June 1 to August 28, and edited during production and up until the beginning of November. It's shot on a Sony Nex-VG 10. Video is edited with Adobe Premiere, audio edited with Sony Vegas and Cubase. We also used After Effects for some things like masks to remove faces (we put stockings over actors' heads during the shoot), but most effects are just optical tricks.

This was actually really fun! I was frustrated at the end that we couldn't actually see much action with all the distortion, but that comes with the territory. Also, kind of got confused on who was who, but hey, still pretty awesome! Lots of effort, and considering what you had to work with, you did really well! good job. :)

This film should've been released in theaters, had it not been for the first half being generally nothing. Still, this would be on my top 25 films I've seen, nice work. Had an intense final scene. I'd give it a 7.5/10

Me and my girlfriend give this 2 stars. Not worth it. Some good ideas, but not enough payoff. The scenes where interesting things are happening leave you hanging in a bad way.

I really liked this it was really good up until the end which confused the shit out of me. Overall it was a pretty good movie. Ignore the haters. They're probably just jealous that you put more work into this than they have into their Slender Man blog\vlog\movie.

In my honest opinion, this movie was okay but I feel like almost 75% of the movie was just trees. It was very boring all throughout, but once I hit 1:17:00 it started to get good. Very unexpected ending at that point. I feel this movie didn't focus on Slenderman very much. The ending really was very confusing. Everything was way too rushed and I couldnt comprehend what was going on, unless that was your target. The ending made me feel like I was high or somethin. It was okay for a low budget vid

This movie reminds me of a typical nightmare...long periods of boring stuff, with a few quick but terrifying moments in between, all leading up to a fear-inducing and bone-chilling ending that would normally awaken someone from a nightmare. Good job. Now they need a 2012 version of it...

I'm sorry, but this film wasn't that good. The factoring was what I would expect from a bunch of film students,but than the movie is too slow ,and buildup is poorly place. Than when we finally get to action and the climax, it just doesn't do credit for the slenderman. I'll give you an A for effort, but that is about it. Also the ending was not needed, that ruined it for me completely.

this was the first Slender Man movie I've ever seen that pulled it off. I just want to say thank-you, you've shown that it can be done, and hopefully developed somthing of a minium standard for other movie makers to follow. This was just fantastic, and you deserve so much more credit and attention than you have right now.
And becuase I don't see one of those annoying but amusing comments referancing how few dilikes you have: 6 people were infected by Slenderman

Well after some of the other Slender Movies I've seen, I'll be honest with you here. I went into this not expecting much. So I'll be perfectly honest and say --I enjoyed this. I'm not gonna compare this to the Vlogs because it's a different format so it's incomparable. But as a found footage Slender Man movie it was pretty decent.
Your dialogue was good with only some small traces of narm nearing the end. Some funny dialogue too to boot. Your effects were your own. You made the suspense well
