  • what was that scream like aaa a.a.a.a

  • I crapped my pants when the video just got fucked up O_O and those sounds where creepy O_O

  • Was the slender man real ??? O_O

  • I don't get it...

  • Merde jesus osti lol

  • omg the acting is atrocious

  • The final interrogation scene is fucking bad ass.

  • The last 15 minutes of this were fucking awesome, and I really liked the acting of Brandon. Pretty good overall.

  • Rated R

  • my nitpicks: 1) no one like to look at the ground. 2) It took you more than half the movie to finally see some action.

Likes: 1) The mythos story was good. 2) The climax was pretty darn amazing as well as the epilogue. 3) The Marble Hornets-esque tape distortions.

Ya'll just need to work on action levels. The eventful ending had plenty, but maybe just put in tidbits of intriguing action throughout. Good Job guys! :D

  • Good, but Marble Hornets is still better

  • "Do I get fried bread with that?" Haha.

  • The camera man is awful. He films the ground for like half the movie.

  • Hmm, wow so at the end theyre all windigos? Those guys running at them? And why the ful didn't the slenderman get hurt from being shot?

  • @admiralsftershockrex Because he's slenderman.

  • 1:01:27 is that a pokeball in the dirt pile?

  • This needs some serious editing and a bit more action.

  • Some of the conversation feels really un-natural and forced.

  • This isn't bad, but i gotta admit i don't think the Slender Man Mythos translates well into a feature-film, even one done in the found-footage style. The Mythos doesn't suit itself well in instances where a climax is needed, nor does it do well with more conventional, direct antagonists (Even if they are connected to Slender Man).

All and all, its okay. Too few people know of Indian Myths and legends and it wasn't a bad idea to tie Slender-Man to the Wendigo. A worthy addition to the Mythos.

  • for a movie this was complete crap. only the last 10 minutes are worth watching. the rest is absolute terrible acting and nothing about slenderman. even the last 10 minutes footage has bad acting in it. how was that a fight scene??? anyways 1/10.

  • Ultimately, that was pretty good.

I feel like too much time was put into setting up the scenario, but it was pretty balanced for an actual movie. I didn't even get too tired of the plot at the beginning, and hardly anything even happened! :P

Good job on this movie. Certainly not perfect, but anyone who's going to complain about that is ridiculously .

Also, you know you're doing a good job when you're basically running around a grape-juice coated forest and you're still making the mood tense.

  • jesus fuck, these guys were horribly orcistrated, that would have been a terrible documentary!

and darkharvests idea of slenderman is better

  • I'm about halfway through now. I have to take a moment to tell you how much I like the writing though. There's a line where one of the guys asks, "Do you have a watch?" and the cameraman replies, "I have a phone." It's really realistic to today's world and something that people actually say when asked if they have a watch. It's a little touch but it brings a huge amount of realism to the story. Nice work.

  • LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • How can you dislike a free movie on youtube :c Come on guys, they worked hard on this

  • When i heard about this movie i was very excited about watching since i have seen all the other Slender Man Series clips, but upon watching this i was very disappointed. This movie had very little clips containing the actual slender man, and i felt that it just went at a snails pace. I found myself very bored during most of it. Although the last 5 minutes were very good, i must say.

  • Selenas a bitch

  • fuck. me. holy. ass. That was amazing. Seriously.

  • There's a new slender man becuse they killed the other one Mabe so who ever gets killed by the slender man turns to the slender man or a zombie becuse that guy turned into a zombie and I don't now what happened to the kid he turned to the slender man

  • 0.0 never watch a scary movie by yourself at 4:00. DONT DO IT.

  • Loved it. Very well done.

  • epic cat stare at 00:10:53

  • ".... Ok maybe we used a little wikipedia."

  • so every one that was killed by the slender man became a zombie?

  • needs way more views

  • Several hours pass, during which nothing of note occurs.

  • *Spoiler* I don't understand why they were attacked by the town at the end of the movie, and I still don't know who the Slender Man is...

  • About the title: Are you talking about the Wendigo? I don't know any monster called the windigo. Perhaps a typo?

  • There are very few good bits to this movie, including the actually Slenderman appearance, and a few scary scenes at the end. Other than that, wasting 40 minutes of the movie on useless scenes a is really, REALLY bad idea, I have no idea how could you guys just let it be that way and think it is interesting. I mean seriously.

The characters are forgettable. They just aren't on the screen enough, and they aren't visible enough, and are pretty much all the same.

Sorry, but no purchase from me. :(

  • holy shit. that was THE best. I swear, my friend SilentDarkReaper would go APESHIT for this!

  • @EpicOrangeness APESHIT

  • well sir that was one of the best horror films ive witnessed. but how did you mkae slenderman?

  • Meh. the end was okay I guess.

  • What happened to the toad?

  • This movie is not worth your time. The characters are pretentious assholes who manipulate the people they interview to help promote their bullshit cause, the kind of people that Marble Hornets, largely responsible for the making Slenderman so well known, set out to parody and make fun of. The actors cant act worth a goddamn and the editing is atrocious; i doubt these incompetent fucktards have ever even heard of a fucking transition

  • @grimfedora99 The plot is all over the place, with plot points that amount to nothing and add a grand total of jack diddly shit to the overall story that was barely there to begin with. The special effects are face-palmingly bad, and Slenderman’s involvement with the whole thing feels incredibly forced. It’s like they were just looking for a newer, more retarded way to get zombies into their movie.

  • @grimfedora99 Worst of all, it isn’t scary. Most of the time its fucking boring and the hour and a half run-time drags hard. Bottom line, there are better Slenderman stories to spend your time with and better ways to spend an hour and a half. Don’t watch this movie.

  • @grimfedora99 Not even constructive criticism needs to span over 3 comments, never mind your criticism.

  • @ghostluver711 I wont again man. Believe that shit

  • Um a windigo is a native American folklore while the slender man is more related to the German folklorean, so to be frank, there is no connection to them both since windigos go for the fact of eating human flesh while the sender man often kidnaps people and kills them (not sure if he does anything more than that) you should have seen the lost tapes show from animal planet to see the difference between the two

  • @shinigamiqueen13 The whole German folklore stories were made up on something awful to make the story seem more credible and steeped in myth, you can even see the different pictures and stories they tried before they decided the mythos

  • ok i saw it and well in the words of a nice bum i know its that was the greats thing i saw in my life i mean shit i messed up 5 pants during the last 30 mins

  • @slademechmaster More of these comments should contain Chester A Bum references. Ace.

  • @slademechmaster were you drunk when you wrote that comment

  • the distortion is kinda annoying

  • @sword199723 The distortion is caused by the Slender Man's presence. It foreshadows his appearance, even though they don't show him for awhile. The distortion is there because it's part of the Slender Man legend.

  • The first half hour was showing their personality a giving a back story but there was too much distortion It made my head hurt

  • to august 28th that is my bday <3

  • Wow just finished watching this and it was fucking retarded

  • So this is a blair which type thing right?

  • Only twenty seven minutes in. KInda feel sorry for that older fellow they got in on this action, guy looks exasperated. (I'm sure it's all in good fun. XD)

  • Ok, this comment is where I've watched 15 minutes into so far... I love the epic forshadowing :)

  • Would've been great if you took the first ten min and last half hour

  • yeeaaaa this was horribley made. i saw so many errors

  • This was pretty good! The ending, in my opinion, was probably the most clever part though. [SPOILER] It kind of gave an insight into what the Slenderman actually is...

  • Fake

  • @icachowtosAmore09 No shit, moron.

  • @icachowtosAmore09 Really? Is it fake? You must be an expert at spotting the signs; I am too. They were subtle, but if you look closely, you can see "Slender Man movie" in the title.

  • I prefer the original Slender Man concept. Still this was pretty entertaining. Also enjoyed seeing him with tentacles for the first time, though I've only watched half-way through Marble Hornets so far.

  • @DArlauccualrADfan TribeTwelve shows off his tentacles a lot, you should watch that. Marble Hornets never does.

  • @AdamOfNebb Thank you.

  • moral?

  • Oh boy, I'm only 5 minutes in and I'm already hoping that Slenderman kills all these pricks. The characters are seriously unlikable and the actors are well...just baaadd.

  • @Kraele I amend that statement. Brendon (Brandon?) is the only one I care about at this point.

  • Having watched pretty much all the Slenderman related vlogs, I can safely say this is one of the worst. I was horrendously disappointed. There was no cohesive narrative whatsoever, which you really really need if you're going to make something feature length hold the attention. Terrible.

  • @xeractus I agree 100%; I've been following MH, Tribe Twelve, EMH and all the other vlogs, this "movie" is a complete disaster from beginning to end. Writing all of what's wrong with this movie is a waste of my time, the first hour+20mins are nothing but filler with bad "meta acting". The rest is nothing more than plagiarism from Marble Hornets and shitty camera effects. The ending? Laughable, nothing scared me at all.

  • I'm abut to start watching does slender ever show up what is it?

  • @DodgingAndWeaving Don't bother watching it, and this is coming from someone who watched Marble Hornets & Trible Twelve and then spent the next week in utter horror and fear. This "movie" is the epitome of terrible, read the comments for further explanation.

  • Who were the guys in the white shirts with guns at the end? Can someone please explain?

  • That was honestly one of the best Slenderman films I've ever seen.

  • FAKE!!

  • @MzGang544 No freaking duh.

  • nice movie NOT

    \

  • That was fun.

  • This was actually extremely well done, I was very entertained.

The similarities to Marble Hornets were a little disappointing, but probably not intentional. Anyway, the majority of it had a lot of originality, so good job :)

  • Not bad at all, I just think you guys took too many ideas from marble hornets. Not bad at all though, thumbs up.

  • no u

  • Not too shabby. Like the direction you went it was different, more unique.

  • @coolguyus123 it really depends on which arg you follow some say it depends on his intent others just use different ties

  • A fellow Toronto/Candaian film maker.

Amazing work. How long did this take you to make? What cameras did you use?

What editing software? This was seriously amazing. The beginning was a bit slow, as I have read many others say, but that's in all movies. You need filler. Worth watching it right to the end. Make up effects, and CG were awesome. How did you make the masks and stuff?

(ps. I'm so buying a copy of this.)

  • @offsideandy Hey, cool to see another filmmaker in the area! We started writing the script in March 2011, filmed from June 1 to August 28, and edited during production and up until the beginning of November. It's shot on a Sony Nex-VG 10. Video is edited with Adobe Premiere, audio edited with Sony Vegas and Cubase. We also used After Effects for some things like masks to remove faces (we put stockings over actors' heads during the shoot), but most effects are just optical tricks.

  • @VinceEmerson

    Fucking unreal.

I'm so happy with the final product I watched. Seriously.

  • @VinceEmerson really like the distortion you used throughout!

  • Comment removed

  • @VinceEmerson This should be on Netflix

  • slendy has a red tie not black

  • @Coolguyus123 The Marble Hornets incarnation has a red tie. The original Slender Man has a black one.

  • Good job, that was pretty good! It's great to finally see a Slender Man movie. Glad to see Slender Man fans in Toronto. Keep up the good work!

  • Comment removed

  • This was actually really fun! I was frustrated at the end that we couldn't actually see much action with all the distortion, but that comes with the territory. Also, kind of got confused on who was who, but hey, still pretty awesome! Lots of effort, and considering what you had to work with, you did really well! good job. :)

  • Oh and you spelled "Wendigo" wrong.

  • @thespiswolf Actually, there are several spellings of the word. One of them being Windigo. Also, if your going to post a hate comment, please put all of your hate in one comment. Your stupid whining takes up half the comment page.

  • 90% endless walking through the woods, 5% of Steve saying "fuck", 4% worse fake fight scene EVER, 1% standard, generic Slender series.

  • 1 hr and 10 mins of my life that I will never get back. This was HORRIBLE.

  • Hilarious

  • this is great, you guys are really good at factoring

  • Slenderman- Interests: Environmentalism, Fitness, Amateur Films...

  • mfw its 2004 but there is brand new cars driving by

  • That was FAN-F**KING-TASTIC! 8D I loved this so much! ...Even though this is going to be the reason why I'll never go into the woods/ a wooded park again. :'D Awesome job.

  • why don't you just shake the camera some more like you're on speed? guess what, filmmakers: IT WASN'T A GOOD TACTIC IN FUCKING CLOVERFIELD AND IT'S NOT A GOOD TACTIC HERE! by the way, try once in a while to break out of horror movie trend-following and give us likable characters. I have better things to do with my life than watch another Blair Witch wanna-be.

  • 1:23:28

Slender Man: Hi guys! OH SH*T!!

  • Very interesting film, the audio/visual distortion effects were cool. This movie seems to start out like Blair Witch, for thirty minutes, I thought Slender Mam was the trees.

  • 02:47 A moneymaking artist? That's quite the oxymoron!

  • This was truly terrible.

  • This is one of the worst Slendermovies I've seen. I'm on minute 37 and I'm bored out of my mind. I keep telling myself to keep watching until the end, but I just can't.

  • This movie was great! Although, the ending was kind of corny.

  • This is not that good...

  • This is fucking terrible

  • This has to be the worst film ever.... i dont know if it was planned out of waht, the ending is has zombies. and wtf is with the slenderman shit through out this video. its like mixing chocolate with Shit on a piece of toast

  • This film should've been released in theaters, had it not been for the first half being generally nothing. Still, this would be on my top 25 films I've seen, nice work. Had an intense final scene. I'd give it a 7.5/10

  • Lol. He was talking about Jackass 3 at 11:58

  • Comment removed

  • Me and my girlfriend give this 2 stars. Not worth it. Some good ideas, but not enough payoff. The scenes where interesting things are happening leave you hanging in a bad way.

  • 34:27 crotch shot.

  • NOOOOO SLENDY D':

  • worst found footage movie evar. camera effects and noise distortion take away from this genre rather than add to it. it was fucking annoying.

  • Wow. Just wow. This has no problem standing next to Marblehornets, EMH, and Tribetwelve. And its even from my own country...you make this slendy fan proud

  • @matthewtop You are on fucking crack if you think this garbage holds a candle to MH and TribeTwelve.

  • Very well done. It is extremely hard to film with this style, and I honor you.

  • What the hell it had almost nothing to do with the slender man

  • It was an Okay film, i give it a 8/10. I dont think i should have waited almost half of the film for it to pick up though

  • Ok at 6:18 the dolls head is turn to the right then at 6:21 its looking up at him o.o

  • @TheExtermewolfy108 That's a baby. xD

  • @TheExtermewolfy108 u do realize thats actually a kid lol

  • why not split it into segments

  • ... I love you for this. Thank you! That was one nail biting finale!

  • I really liked this it was really good up until the end which confused the shit out of me. Overall it was a pretty good movie. Ignore the haters. They're probably just jealous that you put more work into this than they have into their Slender Man blog\vlog\movie.

  • Not bad, acting seemed too fake at times and some horror scenes were over exaggerated, but a great movie all in all. I really did like your twist on the Slenderman Mythos.

  • hands down one of the worst excuses, not just for horror, but for a movie in general

I've seen SyFy channel originals that are better quality

the end song was the only remotely redeeming factor this piece of shit had

  • Amazing movie. 10/10

  • In my honest opinion, this movie was okay but I feel like almost 75% of the movie was just trees. It was very boring all throughout, but once I hit 1:17:00 it started to get good. Very unexpected ending at that point. I feel this movie didn't focus on Slenderman very much. The ending really was very confusing. Everything was way too rushed and I couldnt comprehend what was going on, unless that was your target. The ending made me feel like I was high or somethin. It was okay for a low budget vid

  • O.O Oh... MY.... GOD!!!

  • Or is it that he sees everyone as Slendy?

  • 1:25:30 - Keep pausing and playing repeatidly, or fastly, and you'll see Slenderman bending over and staring the guy down, and at one point you see it's some guy in a western/hawaiin vacation-y hat. O.o duh fuq?

  • Or is it supposed to be that he sees everyone as Slendy?

  • 9:22 This guy has some serious nipples

  • you forgot 48:58 Filmhawks

  • slenderman 39:08 slenderman 42:32 slenderman 1:04:42 slenderman 1:04:59 SLENDERMAN 1:23:19 SLENDERMAN 1:23:28 SLENDERMAN 1:23:48 SLENDERMAN 1:25:31 SLENDERMAN!!!!! 1:26:15 SLENDERMAN!!!!! 1:26:46 SLENDERMAN!!!!! 1:26:50 (2x) OH YYYEEEAAAHHH!!!!!!! 1:27:09
  • WTF! a windigo is an evil indan spirit that posses people when they become canabull

  • Good work

  • OH BALLS SLENDERMAN IS IN THE MLP UNIVERSE!

  • This movie reminds me of a typical nightmare...long periods of boring stuff, with a few quick but terrifying moments in between, all leading up to a fear-inducing and bone-chilling ending that would normally awaken someone from a nightmare. Good job. Now they need a 2012 version of it...

  • @ASkinnyWhiteGuy thats what makes a movie scary, the boring bits build up the plot and characters, the short and scary bits keep you paranoid, and the ending ruins your sleep for the next few weeks

  • Oh my god. Not sleeping tonight. Nope nope nope. I don't think I can even ever hike again. Not alone.

  • Best Slenderman Movie EVER! I loved it! Great job you guys

  • I'm sorry, but this film wasn't that good. The factoring was what I would expect from a bunch of film students, but than the movie is too slow ,and buildup is poorly place. Than when we finally get to action and the climax, it just doesn't do credit for the slenderman. I'll give you an A for effort, but that is about it. Also the ending was not needed, that ruined it for me completely.

  • Atleast we know now that the cam is water-proof. But srsly, the movie is all in all great. The first 45 minutes are kinda boring and seem to be artificially streched, but the 2nd have is really nice. Especially the last 20 minutes fucked my mind o.O

  • this was the first Slender Man movie I've ever seen that pulled it off. I just want to say thank-you, you've shown that it can be done, and hopefully developed somthing of a minium standard for other movie makers to follow. This was just fantastic, and you deserve so much more credit and attention than you have right now.

And becuase I don't see one of those annoying but amusing comments referancing how few dilikes you have: 6 people were infected by Slenderman

  • Well after some of the other Slender Movies I've seen, I'll be honest with you here. I went into this not expecting much. So I'll be perfectly honest and say --I enjoyed this. I'm not gonna compare this to the Vlogs because it's a different format so it's incomparable. But as a found footage Slender Man movie it was pretty decent.

Your dialogue was good with only some small traces of narm nearing the end. Some funny dialogue too to boot. Your effects were your own. You made the suspense well

  • @ExorcistGamer And you followed the two most important roles of the Slender Mythos.

If he's going to show up, make it big and sparingly

    Don't explain everything.

You followed those two rules perfectly. Great work you guys, this was an enjoyable movie. I also enjoyed the joke shout outs you made. If i'm right that is in the windscreen comment being a joke about MH.

  • FINALLY just what ive been looking for A Canadian/slender man/found footqage style film I LOVE IT

  • is this fake?

  • @kevinroxu nope... slender man actually exists
