This is in my opinion, the best version - and yes - after watching Evangelion: Death, it really communicates the climactic nature of the impending events. Evangelion uses musical dissonance so well. God Bless Shiro Sagisu and Hideko Anno!

I just watched Evangelion: Death. This is probably my favorite version I heard, especially after I watched the end of the series. I like the theme, but I always thought it was out of place.
