  • the RRoD looks pretty lol =P

  • it sounds like your gargling water for the first minute.

  • Can`t OC the Xbox 360 :(

  • really really really nice!

  • yeah u are looking at fans to silenc out the xbox but the dvd drive is the one that makes the most noise

  • @KagiSpirit95 I'm not, I'm looking at fans to provide better cooling, look great, and at the same time, reduce noise.

  • its to dark

  • talismoon whispermax fan

  • My Xbox is 3 Years old today, and It is very quiet, I have just got the 2 red lights, and the Xbox is VERY well ventilated. and I think the Fan's are starting to fail, Would you say that this is a good fan that I could use to replace the factory fans? I'm not bothered about the noise, as long as the fan does it's job.

  • yes. i would reccomend these fans. they can double the speed of the stock fans. also check out another type of fan, xcm 360 core cooler v2.

that will help alot more if you really want to keep it cool.

  • so what is the xlamp ive always wondered why people do the x-clamp fix, is it really necesary to do it? what if i do a series of efective cooling mods and it keeps my 360 very cool, and it also would happen to be a jasper version will it eventually break if i dont have the x-clamp fix?

  • nice to see some one still has the old heat sinkers i have them two still

  • hey i put this fan on an elite

  • do they still make them?

  • ...is there a problem if your disc drive is out and it doesnt rrod?

  • i have the xcm twin fans and these installed but i don't think it is enough.will those be enough to keep the gpu/cpu cool enough.please respond

  • yes it will keep them cool with whisper max

  • Comment removed

  • please cough!!!!!!!!!!!

  • your voice is horible go drink some water

  • @pkscapedang3r I took the down time I had while I was sick to make some of my videos.

  • do the whisper fans prevent the 360 from overheating? Because I have an overheating issue right now and i was wondering if these fans will prevent my 360 form overheating. The xbox 360 fans suck balls lol.

  • replace the xclamps in the xbox

  • what in da hell is king lebron doing here in xbox 360 vid?

  • great vid i have whisper max fans 5star!!!

  • This vid reminds me of AVP2 can't see shit!

  • hahaha

  • Should I really get this or just go Standard with the Talismoon Whisper Fan? Doesn't this one use like, too much energy or something?

  • for how long can this fan keep ur system cool????

    how many hrs.

  • i got the same fans from divineo and also a core fan. and i was wondering if you could tell me how to fix the leds on the core cooler fan

  • do you need a wind tunnel for 12 v? since its pushing so much air

  • You need a wind tunnel regardless...I can't see not having one working at all unless you went ghetto like me.

  • hey i have the same! :D where i bought them they called it ''nitro vans'' cuz the button :P

  • what do you reccomend...these or the xcm high speed air cooler v2 fans with the sensor

  • The V2's are for looks, they're just cool looking fans. I have those, and the whisper max and the whisper max does all the work.

  • i have both cooling sistem, whisper max works very good, xcm air cooler work good too but make more noise(low and max speed) in comparison with whisper max. Xcm air cooler have a litte display for the temperature of Gpu and cpu(for me is useless) and two button for increase or decrease speed)I hope this help you.

  • Yeah looks good because the thing thats bugging me now is the fan whine on my replacement unit. I got used to the noise on the original but now I have a jet engine noise from the bearings or blades...not sure which but its mighty annoying and I feel like replacing them.

  • The whine is usually caused by a non lubed bearing or bushing. With my talismoon whisper red fans, I just use some oil and place a couple drops in and reseal the hole with the rubber cap. solved my problems.

  • Yes thanks...I was thinking it has to be the bearings and I am very tempted to put some decent fans in there. I think I will trade it in and try the jasper. I like the soundproof computer casing but its too expensive a solution.

  • nope.

  • hey is it the 12v bad for the unit? stealing and sucking a 12v of power to the system and its component?

  • yes, don't get them

  • To get the full effect from the fan LEDs its better to have a see through case, i got mine from the game train, but you can get them from plently of shops just search on google. You wont get banned for doing any case modding or cooling modding. You only get banned for playing copy games (using a flashed dvd drive) I have the ghost case clear v2 case with these fans and also the xcm core cooler v2 also i matched the harddrive to be see through and the controller with Leds aswell.

  • so basically your machine looks exactly like mine........lol

  • hi, awesome videos. i have a question though, would you be able to see the led's with a normal xbox 360 shell? and also, where can i get a different shell for an xbox 360? let me know and thanks.

  • ya it glows out the back where all the holes are

  • will i get banned from live? :(

  • nope, playing burned games ban you

  • i just ordered these bc my xbox fans were broken and it was overheating within 10 mins, theres 3 diff colors of led and nitro mode on it, also the quitest on the market

  • Woah nice! Is it much more silent than the original? Can you run on whisper mode(5V) without over heating? Im having thoughts about replacing my fans so...Is it worth 20$ ?

  • It's a bit quieter on 5V, but still with better cooling, and on 12V, it's about the same as the old fans, but much better cooling. Definitely worth it.

  • hmm, i got the fans, but when i move it to the 5V mode it just turns off

  • mine to, and then i got the red rings, even when i left it on 12V mode....

  • i have the normal whispers and the XCM core coolers (the dual ones)

are the whisper max fans better than both those combined?

  • the XCM and whisper max is the ultimate combo

  • yeah, but they both use the sata cable, so thats draining alot of power

  • do they come with directions

    please answere

  • Yes, but I have an installation video for them.

  • cool also i was wondering does the nitro switch fit between the fan and the back of your 360 when you put it back together

  • does this ever cause thr rrod?

  • Not if it's installed correctly.

  • hey buddy next time put the exact link to get those fans in you're video so we don't have to look for them. lol

  • one more question, caould u make a vid showing how to put them in? starting at taking the shell off xbox?

  • ok so now being about a year later, have u had the rrod? i really want a 360 but dont want to have to pay another $600 just to fix it....and ur 360 would look sick with a clear shell

  • I will never have the RROD, plain and simple.

  • okok just making sure, i was wondering if u know what the talismoon windtunel is for the 360?

  • It's an OEM replacment duct, showing in this video I'm fairly sure. Don't bother with a lit one, go clear.

  • Getting these today. I've read every single comment that has been posted on this vid. You are a great help, and it is good to know that your system is working fine. I got my 360 off of Ebay for $40 (had RROD but was still in warranty). I sent it in and got a brand new 360 (: I opened it up to do the 12v mod but my solder wasn't sticking to the board right. So I just gave up, but now I need new fans because I soldered the wires back up...but I don't trust my own soldering skills :P

  • No problem man, and use flux...your soldering iron and your hand is the car, soldering flux is the wheels to the car, just makes everything roll smoother and faster. If you need any suggestions/tips, just message me.

  • I had flux, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. It looks like some kind of cake icing...I thought that maybe putting it on would cover up the contacts on the board.

    How do I use it?

  • It does look like that, but doesn't taste like it, don't experiment with that.Get your flux, get some flux brushes (any kind of small, bristled brush should work just fine.), squeeze a small amount of flux onto your brush, just enough to cover the area(s) to be soldered, brush it on and smooth the flux out over the soldering joints, and you're done! Now just go about soldering as usual, just this time, you will hear some bubbling and your joints will flow much faster and your connections much st

  • -ronger. If you want, and I will probably do this, I can make a tutorial on using and applying flux as needed, as well as SMT soldering.

  • That would be great!

  • I'll see what I can do.

  • Alright, thanks for all your help.

  • No problem.

  • So exactly how did you get yours FREE ... being "that's just me" ? ? ?

  • I was offered them to test and advertise.

  • Well that's PRETTY Kewl, how do I get on that band wagon ... ;-)

I saw some stuff posted where u did some hole cutting in the cases, that going to be my next endeavor, just purchased Whisper MAX, Ghost Case (Blue), XCM Core Cooler V2, Aurora Lighting and a ROL board (Blue LED's) all in the mail after I get it modded I'll try to make a video and post

  • So, there is no need to have a moded firmware instaled?...

Just install de fans and you are good to go and no fear of bans?

  • No. Yes.

  • My 360is not moded is still sealed.

My question is: Will I get banned becouse of a hardware checking from xbox live? My question is becouse people I know tell they have moded their console fans, but it required a moded xbox (firmware) to not get banned from xbox live.

Do I have any chance of geting my console banned from live becouse of this instalation?

  • That's complete bullshit...I'm sorry, it is. You will not get banned at all. Your system runs a bios check every time you connect, but since they're variable speed, it cannot accurately check.

  • hey dude why do you have the red lights? is it because the machine is open?

  • The A/V cable is unplugged.

  • hey guys do they sell these in stores? in toronto canada? like in places like pmall for anywere like taht if anyone noes were i can get these in store in torotno can u tell me and mabe on how to get there i tryed google but it doesnt show

  • No, they do not.

  • Try ebay! :)

  • Umm can xbox tell if you have modded fans in your xbox just wondering?

  • Everytime you connect to live your system runs a BIOS check to make sure everything is in proper and working order, including the fans. BUT, the voltage change will not effect it, you will be fine.

  • sounds like u need to hack a lugy

  • ill buy a thermal paste to keep it super cooled

  • if i play a long time without the nitro switch on say about 4-6 hours would i get rrod?

and is the nitro mode louder than thee normal 360 fans while playing a game?

  • No, but there is always a chance of the RROD, I say keep them on nitro constantly. Yes, it is louder, but no different than your stock fans.

  • thanks for the info!

so when at nitro mode they are not louderthan the stock fans

but do you think they are better than the stock fans?

  • They are a bit quieter than the stock fans at nitro mode, not much, but when it comes down to it, these are simply...better.

  • video is a bit dark

  • So the nitro switch attaches directly to the fans center motor before you slide them into position? Where do you put the wires coming from the switch? Is there guides in the plastic? Is there a specific way to do it to make it simple?

  • You can put it anywhere you want.

  • so once you attach the nitro switch you just kinda pull the wires to the side and slide the fan into place...easy as that?

  • Watch my installation video, it's very simple.

  • I think i watched all your videos but i don't remember seeing you actually install the nitro switch onto the fan and close the xbox up...am I missing a video?

  • I never installed the nitro switch, I had no need, but it's fairly simple as well, people just turn a molehill into a mountain, all you do is place the switch behind either baring of the fans, and pull the wires out of the way, it's that simple.

  • Dude! if it wasn't for your video, i wouldn't know whisper max. I just got them today and ive been playing for hours and when i took out my disc it wasnt hot! just a little warm. unlike before, i would take out my disc and it would be very hot! thanks! p.s. i kept it in v12 and it blows great! not a sexual way :)

  • Glad to see I helped you, and it's only sexual if you want it to be... ;)

  • If i switch to v12 during when im playing would my benq dvd drive get affected? please reply bc i want to get this fans

    Thanks in advance

  • No, it will not effect your drive while playing.

  • how am i supost to install the whisper fan max if my air fan power supply doesnt work at all???

  • are these fans easy to install?

  • Look at my other video(s) and find out.

  • 12 volt uses up more energy but is brighter and more powerfull

  • Yes, the whole point of using 12V.

  • Whats the difference between 5 and 12 volt mode I'm still not sure

  • Turns the fans on at different speeds.

  • i have two questions. how is the turbo switch used when the 360 is put toghethrt, like where du you put it and acess it, and also does it hook up in the sam spot as all the other fans? plz reply

  • Place it behind the fans, and yes, they do.

  • ty i just put a plexiglass window in the top of my 360, and wnt to install some leds and get a better fan, now i just nedd to order it off the internet.

  • I have a question. Wouldn't it be dangerous to use it on Nitro mode because it uses more power?

  • Not near enough to do any damage, the most voltage you should ever take from the 360 is 36V, and that's not really safe, but over that, and you're screwed. These fans are fine.

  • out

  • Hmm?

  • dude sorry if i didnt understand...but do those fans blow air IN the 360 or OUT?

  • All fans blow cool air and suck out hot air.

  • how bigg are they?

    120MM?

  • No, nowhere near that, 60mm or 50mm, just look at your stock fans.

  • do u think u can get me the exact measurement please??

  • Why would you need to know?

  • bcuz i mite need to buy some other fans.

bcuz my mom doesnt want me buying stuff over the internet.

so i mite need to buy some fans from a retail store.

  • You won't find any just like the OEM fans, so you're SOL if you can't, you can just buy an extra 120mm, and wire it to 12V on your motherboard.

  • kk thnx.

    1 last thing.

    wat comes with the fans?

just the fans or does it come with an adaptor?

  • the fans, the nitro switch, and the adapter to use the nitro switch.

  • so i wud have to buy my own adaptor to plug it into my 360?

  • Only if you have the HDMI 360, or elite.

  • lol np. um i know how to controller case mod but i cn't do lighting or shooting fast. how much would those together be. i would like lights in the lb, and rb buttons

  • i've have only heard of of the controller mod that u shot a semi automatic gun extremly fast. are there any other ones and how much do u charge

  • You can do a lot more to controllers than just that, most others are lights, LEDs, anything. My company charges fairly low compared to others around, just tell me what you want, and I'll give you a figure.

    BTW, Thanks for subscribing!

  • mybad it was a differnt vid lol but have u done any other mods to ur xbox or controllers?

  • Ah, that's fine. And yes, I have, I just don't take many videos. Today I did 3 different controller mods, and tomorrow I will be rewiring some LEDs and starting another mod for a customer.

  • k. and where and how do u have access to the nitro switch? did u have to make a small window? and wat was the cpu/gpu mod u tlked about if u want respond by message instead of comment

  • You can place the nitro switch anywhere, the most appropriate spot would be behind the bearing of either fan, you do not have to make a window. I do not recall the mod you speak of, refresh me?

  • hey i heard that microsoft bans peps that ban for and the way that they find out if ur fan is modded is by looking at the voltage. have u gotten any messeges or have u been banned yet?

  • No, that is a myth and has been disproven.

  • how did u get ur fans free??

  • Divineo supplied my company with them when they came out.

  • Damn so the noise is coming from the built in fans from my 360? That is it I'm getting these stupid fans to stop that f*cking stupid noise, can't even play Halo 3....:P microsoft.

  • LAWLS.

  • they def make it quiter yeh?

howcome they get realy loud once in a while?

  • Yes they do, and they get louder once you turn on the "nitro" mode.

  • omg tht was so fast ^.^

im so getting 1 of these now :)

my xbox is so loud i cnt play it at all =/

  • Haha, well I get instant notification through my email of new comments or anything, like you subscribed to me right after you posted this comment...I'm the wizard, lol. Yes, I do reccomend these fans, they are great, and thanks for subscribing.

  • :) magical im ripping my 360 apart 2moro xD and then buying the fans lol should do it the other way round but im to impatint :P

  • haha, get to work!

  • =] hope i dont break it =/

  • Nah, you won't.

  • so whats the nitro mode do other then make them loud :P

  • Turns the fans on "hyper-mode", cools the console greatly.

  • awsome =]

  • did you get banned from xbox live for starting up the system without the dvd drive plugged in?

  • Did I? No, but you will if you do, I'm not a dumbass and I disconnected Live before I made this.

  • Hey one more question before I go, when you install the fans do you have to remove the DVD drive to inprove the airflow throughout the console?

  • No, but you can.

  • So the DVD drive won't get in the way of anything?

  • No, they're a direct OEM replacement.

  • Like the old fans for new ones? What's wrong with the old one? Not enough watts to keep the 360 cool?

  • Dude, they replace the old fans, nothing more, they cool better.

  • Anything's possible dude.

  • I GARUNTEE I will NEVER get the RROD.

  • so if you put the whisper max fan in your 360 and it over heated it will turn back to normal and you can continue playing it?

  • Not getting this are you? MY console will never overheat, yours will only overheat if you take shitty care of it.

  • k heres what im trying to say.if my xbox 360 over heated and the next day i install the whisper max fan, will the xbox 360 turn back to normal?

  • Oh, no, you will need to do an x-clamp replacement, it isn't that hard.

  • how many do i need, where do i get them, and how much do they cost.also shud i buy the whisper max fan to prevent over heating or should i just take care of my xbox 360

  • Holy shit lol, go to llamma(.)com and go to xbox 360 and scroll down and you'll see it.

  • Ok because I'm getting one, tell me whenever you get the RROD then I will change my mind and not waste money. Alright I got your trust. PEACE!
