@sanmurai83 When you have a lot of speed and you hit the top, your wheels bounce of the coping and the speed carries you up and out of the ramp. You can get this same effect when you ride down the side walk and hit a raised section in the concrete. You ride a wheelie over it and jump and it pops you up into the air.

when you ride the vert ramp you become weightless at the top and you don't have to jump.

@dariandds You could practice for years and get better, but you have to be gifted to do what he does. This guy has something few people have when it comes to skateboarding. Do you think you could go down that huge roll in for the first time and expect to make it to the other side uninjured? He built it and did it and there was no turning back after he decided to go the first time. You can't throw in the towel half way through. Total commitment and nerves of steel.
