@ddensu no the bad guys are back because the developers put them in the game. all those bad guys were "killed" in the original ff games, zack is as dead as the bad guys are even though he died before 7 began, he is still part of the series. like i said before zack could be in the game if the developers wished it.

Also, there is no point in adding a character that fights exactly the same as Cloud, that would had been a waste of a char slot.

@ddensu dissidia story begins before any ff? thats impossible, dissidia doesn't even have any connection to the ff games, which y this game is called a "spin-off". and if it were connected the game had to take place after the ff games, if it were before any ff game, each hero of ff wouldn't have any hatred towards the ff bad guys because they wouldn't have known them. For example: jecht wouldn't know his son was tidus.

I believe that Vaan is a symbol of freedom, from suppression of selfish rules (I'm not implying this as anarchy, but from rules that benefits only a select few). He tells us all a lesson of fighting for what you believe in, and that our will is never bound by anything, not even the past. This, he showed to Ashe and Basch in FFXII, who were being suppressed by not only the Judges, but their past.

This is why I admire Vaan as a character. :D

Watching this, I've just realized how amazing of a character Vaan actually is in FFXII.

How often do we have FF characters going on an epic journey not because of fate or destiny but because they simply wanted to? And though hard to notice, Vaan, as he was to Terra, was a strong moral support to Ashe.
