anyway..imho when bands are playing new songs that they KNOW are freakin goodness, they play them with an unparralled intensity that can't be redone, even by the artists...so glad i found this...

I agree on the topic that bootlegging isnt fair to the artists but you have to understand that this isnt a commercial demo, there were only a couple hundred made and its nearly impossible to find one so its appropriate in this case.

That song is by maynard's previous band Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. It's not quite the same song but shares some of the lyrics with sober and has a similar basic melody.

Yeah, there was a lyrical change, but when I listen to Tool or any other band, I don't really focus on the lyrics, more on the beat or instruments, or how voices bounce.
