Secondly, 16 inch stacks do not have to be custom made. "Pypes" makes them in that size and can be ordered just as fast as a 5 inch stack from them. All you said in you're previous post was basic knowledge about a diesel...

@hpiownzilla01 Cummins makes their own engines here in the USA. Cummins is its own company by them selves with contracts to Bosch for things like injection pumps, injectors, etc. Cummins makes semi truck engines, light duty pick-up engines, generators. They are the same as Caterpillar only Cummins doesnt make their own equipment. Dodge has contracts with cummins for their diesel engines, Ford has theirs with International. Ford would have to redesign their whole truck to put a cummins in it.

my bad. I should have read the discription first. I was thinking a powerstroke motor was in there. Still those have to be giant turbos for that motor to take that long to spool up. Usually a compound set up is quick to respond for the most part.

Well you saw how long it took to spool the turbos because they were hurt, so when he took his foot off the throttle just a little it lost boost and wouldn't spool again unless he sat there like in the begenning

It might have the power "potential" but you cant beat the 7.3 its a horse of an engine not all about the power but the reliability and if you take care of them they'll shoot around 600,000 miles before they kick the shit show me a dodge engine that can do that.

Black diesel soot is essentially incompletely burned fuel that is chock full of parafins, ash particulates, sulfates, silicates, and long-chain hydrocarbons, which are precursors to acid rain. I’m not going to get into all the health risks, but it’s fair to say the guy who wrote the comment above has inhaled too much of the stuff. With that said, I'd do it if I had a diesel.

dodge doesnt own cummins never did mercades made cummins and sold the motors to dodge to use then ford went along being smart and 100% bought all cummins right so ford owns cummins now and yes dodge trucks do suck ford make the best trucks

@hpiownzilla01 Cummins makes their own engines here in the USA. Cummins is its own company by them selves with contracts to Bosch for things like injection pumps, injectors, etc. Cummins makes semi truck engines, light duty pick-up engines, generators. They are the same as Caterpillar only Cummins doesnt make their own equipment. Dodge has contracts with cummins for their diesel engines, Ford has theirs with International. Ford would have to redesign their whole truck to put a cummins in it.

i would love to know who keeps telling everyone that ford is or will be getting a Cummins diesel get on cummins site and the had a press reslease almost 2 years ago that they renuid their contract with dodge to supply them with 5.9 6.7 and the new (and motor u have proble not heard about) the 5.0lv8 cummins for dodge half ton trucks and i will also have u know i work in a truck shop and i see 7.3s 6.0 and 6.4 rolin in the door all day long i might see a cummins maybe twice a yearmainly for maint

my bad. I should have read the discription first. I was thinking a powerstroke motor was in there. Still those have to be giant turbos for that motor to take that long to spool up. Usually a compound set up is quick to respond for the most part.

Well you saw how long it took to spool the turbos because they were hurt, so when he took his foot off the throttle just a little it lost boost and wouldn't spool again unless he sat there like in the begenning
