Alot of the claims assume and require the viewer's openness to esoteric ideas-- the majority of the claims are unfounded in science. I will try to watch at least all of this video and give it a fair chance, but it has already lost a great deal of credibility by asserting recapitulation as true...it has been debunked for some time and is not accepted by modern-day biologists, and it's my understanding that most are frustrated with the perpetuation of this myth. I know this film means well but if you are Educated enough, you see this as a blurb of quick statements and facts and are minupulated in a certain direction the film maker wants. Feels as these film takes advantage of uneducated people with actual facts but quickly mixes times and events totaly wrong. Not a fan of Zeitgeist but it's way better than this.

What if we dropped certain words and spoke in terms of e-prime, people need solutions not just "facts" about what something "is", in terms of 2009 we think maybe people did such and such in the past, we have studies that claim such and such.

I agree JBrrou. I took a Vipassana meditation course where we could not speak for 10 days. During that time we were taught a deep for of meditation. I will try to watch at least all of this video and give it a fair chance, but it has already lost a great deal of credibility by asserting recapitulation as true...it has been debunked for some time and is not accepted by modern-day biologists, and it's my understanding that most are frustrated with the perpetuation of this myth. It IS in some textbooks, and it is well documented how many textbooks are riddled with glaring errors.

this is some of the most ridiculous crap i've heard. Don't mix scientific facts with fuzzy words that make you feel special. other than the glaring inaccuracies and incorrect "facts" its a great vid to inspire debate and hopefully set crazy people on the path to reason and objective science

Check all the references though. zeitgeist lets itself down by inaccurate information,even though it makes really good points. Zeitgeist makes valid points but seems to dramatize and enhance the facts.
This could well be completely accurate, but check all the facts before you believe it.

I agree JBrrou. I took a Vipassana meditation course where we could not speak for 10 days. During that time we were taught a deep for of meditation. I never realized how much of myself was undiscovered, it was like pandoras box of self discovery. And the courses are free....check out Dhamma Brothers if anyones interested. I still remember how i got depressed after watching this documentary 2 years ago. But in the end it was a good things, because there were a lot of things i ignored, now i try to read all the books i can get related to Mythology, Psychology, and Jung. I recently went to Europe, i straightly found many libraries of good books in Barca, i read Fulcanelli's book about the gothic cathedrals and their symbolic knowledge on my way to France. And when you get to Paris...amazingly filled with esotherism

Meh, these movies were entertaining enough 5 years ago, now they really start to get boring.
A soup of shallow cospiracy, shallow religion, shallow philosophy and most important: shallow science - the result is this new internet religion.
Theories are fun, but not something one should put faith into blindly - then it becomes religion.
I'm just saying: be a sceptic, belief is something you should keep away from if possible.

This movie is saying you should be a skeptic and discover your own truth through self exploration, not through authoritarian teachings or blind faith. I'll agree that a lot of the theories are difficult to digest, without further personal research.
