Actually, the percentage of scientists who subscribe to any kind of god-beliefs is much smaller than among just about any other professional group. And as you work toward the more notable, most intelligent and most accomplished, the percentage who believe in a god goes down. Among the National Academy of Sciences, only 7% hold any kind of theistic beliefs.

I'm an atheist and I don't "know". You're a deist and you don't "know". Agnostics take the stance that it is unknowable. Atheists are absent the belief that any deities exist. So a scientist who says, "we don't know", if just as likely to be an atheist as an agnostic. But the important factor here is the lack of evidence, making God like fairies.

This should be fun. Present a neutral source to support that claim. Overall, theism is losing to atheism at an unprecedented rate. In a single 11-year period, Christianity lost 9.7% of it's following. I've debated with at least 8-Christians who eventually realized religion had no case, and deconverted. Those are just the ones who later came back to thank me.

EXPLAINING HOW AN AIRPLANE WORKS doesn't mean no one made the airplane. Explaining how life or the universe works doesn't mean there was no Maker behind them. APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. And as you work toward the more notable, most intelligent and most accomplished, the percentage who believe in a god goes down. Among the National Academy of Sciences, only 7% hold any kind of theistic beliefs.

And actually the trend is changing and the amount of "scientists" who turn to God is increasing.

I'm an atheist and I don't "know". You're a deist and you don't "know". Agnostics take the stance that it is unknowable. Atheists are absent the belief that any deities exist. So a scientist who says, "we don't know", if just as likely to be an atheist as an agnostic. But the important factor here is the lack of evidence, making God like fairies.

This should be fun. Present a neutral source to support that claim. Overall, theism is losing to atheism at an unprecedented rate. In a single 11-year period, Christianity lost 9.7% of it's following. I've debated with at least 8-Christians who eventually realized religion had no case, and deconverted. Those are just the ones who later came back to thank me.

And no apparently the flood was local and the tower of babel could easily have been a fact. The story about true was considered a myth as well..untill it was discovered. Anyway, since your bible knowledge is 0 then u can at least read it first before u talk about it..
