  • Then you Realized why they chose the whales voice for Portal 2.

  • my favorite movie scene. EVER

  • I love this part!! Me and my mate have been rattling this off at the school!! U'd be surprised by how many people don't know it and then again how many do!!

    I still don't get the petunias though ... ):

  • @Rotangi Watch the movie, or read the book. Scratch that, just read the book. It's much better.

  • @Magnetbrainn HAha! I dnt know there was a book! :p i have seen the movie though!!!

  • feel sorry for Agrajag

  • hahaha i never get tired of this movie especially this particular part one of the best uses of 2 minutes and 33 second of film ever

  • @mr42253 It is Weatley? I was just about to say that!

  • The whale sounds like Wheately from Portal.

  • I love the whale, it's kind of cute. "I wonder if it will be friends with me? Hello ground! :D" *THUD* and the pot of petunias going "oh not again" xDDD such a wonderful movie

  • @doctorwhom1 why you think of this you sad person!! Jesus seriously get a life!!!! Fuckin nob

  • oh no, not again.

  • The bowl of petunias is very frustrated at Arthur. In fact, it is the most frustrated beeing in the whole universe:) Read the book

  • pardon me, but earlier in the movie it said that the probibibility of being rescued from being launched into space is the same number as a phone number, so it's a 10 digit number, this says that the chances of two nuclear missiles turning into a whale and a bowl of petunias is 8,767,128 to 1, that means that it's more likely for a nuke to turn into a whale then you being rescued from space, i really don't think that's right

  • @doctorwhom1 Wow you're right. I never noticed that before

  • @doctorwhom1

The "probability factor" is just the state of the ships improbility drive:)

  • @doctorwhom1 jum...first of all...relax dude, It's a joke Douglas was an incredibly capable techicnal thinker as Richard Dawkins says, but in the end it's a joke...like 42 chill out. But, if we are gonna pay a lot of atention to the numbers, I think is right..simply because the extension of the universe tends to infinite. In a infinite space the chance of being picked up by a ship in only 30 seconds compared to the chance of 2 nuclear misiles...well..you get my point

  • If you listen carefully just after Stephen Fry says "Many have speculated that if we knew why the petunias had thought that", you can here the bowl of petunias smashing on the ground. I truly lol'd at that point xD

  • What does the Petunias imply? Reincarnation?

  • @justinebanks25 Arthur accidentally killed a being called Agrajag many times. The bowl of petunias was another reincarnation of Agrajag.

  • Hello ground!

  • Gotta love Bill Bailey

  • if you read life, the universe, and everything, you understand what the bowl of petunias was thinking. it was actually extrememly amusing to finally understand.

  • @alyssahotty18 I know ahahahaah

  • @alyssahotty18 hahhaha yeah! i just finished it! <3

  • @alyssahotty18 I was staying with my cousin when reading this and she thought I was insane laughing my ass off at a book.

  • what are cows?

  • Favourite part of the movie!

  • My favorite part of the book, which, by the way, is entirely awesome.

  • Is that Bill Bailey's voice?

  • hahahaha what is that coming towards me very fast? so big flat and round, like ow, ound, round, ground! Wonder if it will be friends with me. Hello, ground. xD love the whale!!

  • ROFL THAT WAS EPIX! xD

  • I loved this part in the book and movie, haha.

  • ah bill bailey

  • you got to feel bad for the bowl of petunias

  • the petunias were actually the reincarnation of somebody that arther had inadverdantly killed half a million times.if you dont understand-READ THE SEIRIES!!!!!!!!!(arther hit the button that called the petunias into existence)

  • Yes, I was just reading that part of the novel!^^ Interesting to see this scene now... ;)
