I watched this documentry with my 10 yr. old daughter today as part of our womyn studies in our homeschooling curriculum. She then wrote this her first metaphor poem as her summery of how she felt afterwards. I'd like to share it with you. Because I'm WOMYN you tell me what to do!! the name of this documentary was "keep it movin" but now its called "u people" its directed and produced by all around new york artist. her name is Hanifah Walidah... She's gotta video out too! Its for that documentary i believe and its called "Make a Move"... I think she's mad kool and hopefully I'll get a chance to meet her when i move from Chicago to New York for college...yeah, i got BIG plans for the big apple..so i hope they ready!
