Thank for sharing. Nice video. Brings back lots of memories growing up there in the 70's. Only been back twice, I think it's time. What area were you hunting in? It looks like somewhere outside Kluane National Park?
Photo's up by Klaune & also, others ?? Mc Millian Pass ??? out of Ross & up the North Canol ??? Sure hope the hell. you , just werent a trophy Whanker & actually ate some of the meat or preserved it for others & didnt just kill our Wildlife just for the Sport !!!
Hunting is okay, but not the posing with dead animals. Give a little repspect to them. SHott'em, eat'em but don't try being cool while holding a bleeding goat
@seamic Dear seamic,, Please dont judge all Yukoners , by this Video , he is obviously not from the Yukon.. You will NOT meet Rednecks in the Yukon , its usually live & let live & help where its needed .. Rednecks do not apply !!
shitbag. OMFG just because u work for ur food doesnt mean ur a redneck. and you whities fuckin hunt and leave everything else. YOU ruin all the food. You make it un-healthy.
LOl i live in ontario to it sucks all my life ive wanted to live out in northern british columbia, yukon and alaska. even know ive lived in fort saint johns for 8 months
It isn't always great here, but I do prefer it more then other places for living. Much more subtle I guess. Gets pretty cold in the winters... this year has been crazy for snow.. but I've been having fun skiing and stuff.
Hey, regulated hunting is great, as well as hunting in your own country/province/territory if you don't live in the yukon, get the hell out! if you have the balls to live here, you deserve to hunt, if you are just here for the taking.. man I wish there was an open season on non resident hunters....but thats at least keep the dumb Frickin american fatties out of our country!if their heads arn't under the water, tie on a bigger weight!
fuck hunting, seriously, and fuck rednecks, ever notice how people who hunt always have a problem looking you in the eye?? or they cut-your throat at work?? I don't care about this son/father,skills legend bullshit, either, your all fuckin homos, if you wanna hunt,do a ghost hunt, picking up a trail,no deer stands, no duck callers, just stock something, enjoy watching it and touch base with ancient skills without acting like an ancient childish retard
how bout you being the childish retard. ppl have hunted since the begining of time. im from the yukon and they r takin our animals. still they ate the meat. your just a lil hippy pussy. touch a gun to your head
fuck you guys. makes me sick all the stupid comments on this site. i've hunted traditionally for my own god damn food, any ass-hole who states, 'hunting for food is an asshole' can come on up and see how he/she survives in the bush. fuck
Lets not be stupid here.....who amoung us wants to join me for a hunt south of the 49th? lets hunt stupid americans! there in prime season...and certainly the population needs to be trimmed:)
totally hate the fact of our animals being slayen by out siders im not a first nation or a treehugger i do my seasonal hunting in my territory and so should everyone..and when i hear of these trophy hunters that makes my blood boil with rage . i was taught to keep what you kill and eat it and waste nothing...
people that do such hunting are poachers and it should be made a crime!
I have no problem with hunting, and I'm from the yukon, but if your not a resident, why should you be able to come in and shoot our animals, I done like trophy american hunters, I'd like to hunt them! when are americans in season?
Helpless creatures? There not helpless, did you not see the size of those horns?!
Reserved seat to hell you say? HA! Hell... thats funny.
And this is in Yukon... Clearly your pretty stupid, because Yukon is right up north in Canada, so why are you talking about Americans?
I don't agree with hunting animals for sport, but it's nature to kill for food and if the animal that is killed is put to use, then theres nothing wrong with it.
i can't stand all the hippies and the nerds who speak for the animals...unless you have shot one, fed your family and prayed for that animal, then fuck off. i'm indigenous, and it's quite damn obvious that you are not birdyboola...no clue.If you want to talk critical thought, i can do that too...i challenge these people to actually do research, whether or not you are born and raised and you have a moose coming out of yer ass...
i can't stand all the hippies and the nerds who speak for the animals...unless you have shot one, fed your family and prayed for that animal, then fuck off. i'm indigenous, and it's quite damn obvious that you are not birdyboola...no clue.
hey animals are edible, no disput there... but these guys showed pics of about 2 tons of meat there... I don;t think all of that made it back to the deep freeze. Hunting for fun is the mark of an asshole, hunting for food is all that need happen.
What the f.... are you lot on? Killing, how many? Yes it is a beautiful country just the greedy bugg... that come in thinking they own it that spoil it. We belong to The Earth the earth does NOT belong to us. Hey lets start with a bit of respect for the animals and indigenous cultures who were quite in balnace b4 the invasion of tourists.
well I've just got back from my summer in the Yukon. It was an amazing experience. I can give details if anyone is interested. I was on McQuesten Lake and in the surrounding area, near Keno if anyone happens to have been there.
you are just mad cause the guides are better at finding the game then you are and they kill old mature animals not the young ones 95% of you residents do which is what is really hurting the populations!
for your information,I was born in this country and have been hunting and trapping since I was 5 yrs old.I have hunted with Natives and Inuit and guided for six years.Don't even begin to throw that crap at me as I know for a fact that the money dictates what game will be taken old or young. And it really burns me and many other Yukoners that this country is being taken over by Germans (as I suspect you are)who have nothing left in their own country.
I'm accually from BC I was a guide not a hunter. My Brother is a yukon resident and I hunting guide. The guy we worked for if your ram was not at least 8 you were fined. The year I was there our average was 10.5 years old. I know quite a few yukon residents and most of the can not age a sheep unless they are holding it they can't age on the hoof. That will cause a lot more problems then outfitters shooting old rams.
@giesbrecht as good as that may sound in your mind, you couldnt be more wrong. the number of yukon big game animals harvested each year by true yukoners is more than doubled by the number of animals harvested by non-residents... trophy hunters are hurting our populations, and most outfitting groups are cashing in...
kinda a bummer ya had to go kill shit there... hope all those animals you took out were at least healthy in population levels. nice scenary all the same.
i'm going out to the Yukon this summer coming, a couple hundred miles north of whitehorse. i was wondering how bad the mosquitos are out there? i've heard they're pretty bad! Also hom common are the bear sightings?
well you shouldn't be too bad for mosquiotes depending if you are in the mountains or not. If you are up in the mountains it will be fine, As for bears just depends on the area I saw 28 different bears in 18 days but I knew like 20 other people working for the same guy and all them together didn't see that many so it all depends.
i'll mainly be in the Ogilvie Mountains, hopefully they won't be so bad up there. Anyway your video has given me a taster of what the landscape looks like. cheers!
I wish I could just drop everything and move to the Yukon!

I'm not against hunting, but I'm against white trash that pose with dead animals because they thinks it makes their dicks bigger.
