  • Thanks for the great video. Just wondering (also to compare her injury level to my own): what is her injury level?

General comment: Also noticed that she gets into her car differently than I do. I don't think I've ever seen 2 people do it the same way. :)

  • me gustaria donde comprar los adactadores de freno y aceleracion ????

  • My name is Sean Lewis. I am 29 and have cerebral palsy. I am a motivational speaker and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. It was interesting to see you demonstrate how to use the hand controls. I myself am unable to drive but I have friends who would benefit from this technology. I think it is so inspiring that you are going into physical therapy. You will be offer something other therapists cannot........proof that with determination and hard work you can achieve your dreams!

  • Great video! A question. How come the chair looks much more wider than you? Is is it intentionally? I usually try get a chair that's as slim as possible, but I know some prefer a wider chair for a better stability.

  • Thank you for the video, Very informative, and helpful in using a chair, I am also in a chair, but can walk little. I have a TI lite chair similar to your chair, Rigid,, Its the only way I can handle it., The next chair I will be getting is a Per4Max chair, Called the Shockwave,, It is made out of aluminum.. Looking forward to a light chair,, My current Ti Lite is not very heavy, Rolls extremely smooth with good tires. of course.. :)

    chris from the u.k

  • thank you for posting this video. it is informative and inspiring

  • She is stunning!

  • Very helpful. Nice job.

  • she is really sexy. What´s her full name?

  • Your Friggin Awesome! I am t12 complete. I drive a minivan. wish i had an AUDI!

  • Do airlines regard wheelchairs as carry-on luggage, or are the chairs considered part of the user, like shoes, clothes, etc?

  • @goliathprime They aren't considered carry-on and they don't charge you. Usually, they tag her chair at the gate and after she transfers onto the aisle chair they will stow it under the plane. Once we land, her chair is waiting for her at the new gate. Always make sure you take your cushion off and take it with you on the plane so it doesn't get lost.

  • @muttyguy Thanks. I've always wondered how that worked

  • How do you get use to driving with the hand controls?

  • @msdontprocrastinate She practiced with an instructor in a parking lot for a few hours and was able to get used to it pretty quickly. She already knew how to drive as an AB so that was probably an important contributing factor.

  • @muttyguy That would make sense. I have been practicing with my hand controls, but i didn't know how to drive before them, so that's probably why it's taking me longer to get use to. Thank you for the reply.

  • Great video, very clear explanations of how things work. I even learned some things and I've got more than fifteen years in a chair. Chair users make the best OT's for chair users. I've had AB OT's that gave advice you wouldn't believe.

  • shes a hottie!

  • do you have spasm problems? and your legs look too weak. are you doing anything for them.

  • @benbayke No spasms since her injury is complete. She uses the standing machine for weight bearing to prevent bone loss (among other things) down the road.
