You forgot to mention that the original Rivermaya included Perfecto de Castro, the lead guitar for the band hence you get all the rich riffs that you hear in this song and the rest of the album. After the first album, he quit the band due to Rivermaya's pop style isn't his thing and formed Triaxis.
