About the practice; if I wanted to do well in a session online, I would go to combat training and play about 3 quick games of escalating difficulty first. Then when I jumped onto multi-player I was ready for it.

Combat training was one of my favorite things about Black Ops, and still a good place for anybody new to FPS to get started.

The stats on MW3/Elite seem to be a big step back from Black Ops. You have to go to a separate site that may or may not be accessible. Elite menus are more difficult to use and the stats are less complete (objective stats for example). Finally, I find the stats on recent games are often wrong, they almost always strip at least one kill from your score.

I knew Elite was free, and that is about what it is worth.

Yep, my bitch isn't as much about the content, but the way EVERYTHING in Elite is broken, or still in the works. At least the new DLC downloads worked right.

@BuschLeaGamer Agreed. My Black Ops games update INSTANTLY on the site, but my MW3 info is gone. :( Going on 4 weeks now working w/ Activision customer service.

I would still buy the hardened edition for the elite subscription if I had to do it over again. I'm glad to get the maps first and regularly. However, I am very disappointed in the site. I thought it was going to add a lot of value and it looks like it was just a gimmick. It's completely broken. Fortunately, MW3 is growing on me but I still don't think they've reached the support and attention that Treyarch gives their iterations.

@kevinmorriss +1 MILLIIIIIIIION! The site itself is GARBAGE, but the DLC content so far is good. I'm enjoying the 2 new maps ALOT so far. The spawns and lag compensation, not so much. My solution for now? Private matches + spawn delay.

Have you been brainwashed by Infinity Ward or are you on the payroll? Damage control much? You are completely correct and yet it is halarious at the same time. Yes, the "FREE" content from Elite sucks. Its broken just like the game. I am officially an Infinity Ward and Robert 402 Bowling hater. I know, I know... Am I pissed off that I paid sixtey bucks for a game thats broken and no way to fix it? YES I AM.

@colrivcrusher Dunno what gave you that impression, but I tried to be as objective as possible. What you get in the Elite PREMIUM subscription is a no-brainer. Save $20/$10 on new maps if you're the type of person that would buy them all anyway. The site itself, which is FREE is absolutely HORRIBLE. I did say all that in the video, right?

If you didn't like those two maps, you are really not going to enjoy Liberation. Plus those maps have broken spawns and the leaves on the ground make sniper, claymores, and bouncing bettys invisible. Cheerios!

@SinsOfWrath Liberation I actually like ALOT. But the spawns on the map are HORRIBLE and its difficult to pick out some players. I plan on hosting some private matches on it though. Domination, DropZone and Capture the Flag could be A LOT of fun in a private setting w/ a spawn delay.

Nice vid. and yeah man im the same way. I bought the hardened edition just for the maps, and actually, that exactly how i warmed up for sniping with Black ops as well. I like you own EVERY map pack. Cod 4 through MW3. I am going to get them regardless, and yes the Clan Ops makes me mad, I wont rage here...lol But I agree, we saved money by getting elite. Thank you for ending the half truths.

@MsArtemis01 PS3 Elite Premium subscribers will always get new content 30days after XBox subscribers, so this content will get to them in February. The new maps will drop for everyone else in March. :)

Agree. Not stressing over Elite because in my mind i just paid upfront for maps i was gonna get anyway. Would I have done it knowing what I know now about the game mechanics now.. different story.. I used to practice sniping on Combat training too but damned if the bots don't use second chance more than a greenie lobby..

Elite's such a rip off. I hate the way these map packs segment the community. It sucks that if you friends in your party don't have the packs, they single you out to pressure you into buying them. However, I do buy all the maps so that's the reason i picked it up. Good commentary Rondre!

@rondre3000 It's not any different from their past business model. I just think it's crap the way they stated at COD XP how mw3 would bring gamers together like never before, and now you can join any clan that shares your interests (if you like basketball for example you can play with other people who like basketball). Then the map packs start rolling out, nothing but division and fragmentation. I've been in a party where someone kicked a close friend cause he couldn't afford maps!

@SU3UR3ANLegend I'm not getting the whole "brings ppl together" advantage either. Yeah, I can see when someone is a member of the same groups (San Diego, NY Giants Fans, etc) but doesn't make me wanna play w/ them...and Clan Ops is still BROKEN. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? LOL.

I am really glad that I saved my money. I don't think Infinity Ward is getting any more of my money period, although Activision might because I still have hope for cod in Black Ops 2.

@ieatcows77 Think about it, it happens every year, people have hope for the next call of duty, and it really never happens, i play alot of COD and was 10th in the first month of MW3, i like COD but really, same bull shit, different year. And im not hating, i love COD

@Sureshot990 True, we will have to see about what we see, we knew about support streaks, deathstreaks, and how easy it was to snipe well before release, and we still all bought MW3. If Black Ops 2 is a failure I am done with cod, its sad that I am sick of it really quick, and I have been playing cod for just over 1 year now, and everyone i know that plays cod has been for longer than me.

@Sureshot990 Definetly, haven't picked up skyrim, but I should. BF3 I only get mad if I get bad teamates, since that is more of a factor in that game. Had one today that went 3 and 35 =(

@rondre3000 You still have hope! Whaaaa..... The issues in the game now for me are now down to spawns, lag (what else is new though), support streaks, snipers being too easy to use, and deathstreaks, things that probably won't be fixed like we like to. The biggest issue is it seems that more people seem to play like bitches in this game, and while there is always campers, it seems the maps encourage it more than they would have in Black Ops.

@rondre3000 Not as bad as Blops for me in that sense. I was playing MW3 to get to 10th, and now i am thinking well whats the point. If i make it I make it, if i dont i dont. I have been playing way more BF3, I am starting to love that game.
