you cant really compare GW to runescape GW beats runescape in many areas: graphics(deffinately), skills(more skills in GW and not really any skills in rune), classes (GW has a wide variety of classes and runescape there is no exact class i admit some people may like this more), overall gameplay(GW has a great story line whereas runescape does not have a firm story) GW wins in my opinion.

i havent played wow or guild wars yet but what i like about rs is ait is a very large world where there is many towns and many places to go most other mmorpgs i download (cabal online/dungeon runners) dont have many people and are very small worlds that are all at one town and u move a lil further from town to fite. runescape has a great comunity of players and large world but shitty game

I played RS for around three years. Got GW a few days ago, played it for an hour and said to myself ''this owns RS''. But...like you compare them, and RS looks pathetic in every way, but when you play it, it has an amazing sucking-in addictive feel, that alot of people get sucked into.
