ACDC has some great songs. But with all due respect, if you are serious about the title of greatest hard rock band, that title belongs to Zeppelin. If you're not sure, you haven't listened. Song after song after song after song . . . are absolute classics.

As far as AC/DC not being good anymore thats simply rubbish... I saw them on their Black Ice tour and they were out of this world fantastic! Punisher.

Best band of all time is interpretive to the listener. AC/DC is good, but I personally would not say they are the best of all time. It also depends on what you are using as a basis. Record sales? Amount of #1 hits? Consensus by poll?.....or personal bias based on favoritism? Overall, the Beatles win in every category except the last one....personally to me, TESLA is the best, but that is only because they are my favorite.

Best band is definitely interpretive - some people hate these guys, I'm just stating that I think they are the greatest rock band of all time and people are welcome to agree or disagree. As of right now, there isn't another band that has stood the test of time and stayed so consistently popular, but ultimately it's just my opinion.

Have to disagree...the new album is solid and I saw them in Albany this past August with a "casual fan" friend of mine. He's been to hundreds of concerts and said it was one of the best shows he's ever seen.

I appreciate the enthusiasm and support CAM, but Bon died about six months or more after the release of Highway to Hell. It came out in 1979 and he died in Feb. 1980. Hope you get to go to a show. Saw them at MSG in Nov. They still got it.

Thanks. They probably will make a "best of" when they call it a day (has to be a double album) but most of their CDs are good from start to finish.

i just had like the coolest idea of what they should do! they should make a double disk set of greatest hits in the Bon Scott era and a greatest hits disk with Brian johnson era. But i dont think they would do that because brian been with them for like 30 years and Bon was only with them for like 5 years so obviously brians disk would have more songs... OMG blahhhh everything im saying makes no sense lol...by the way im 15

They probably would do that because since Back In Black they've made a lot of good songs but not as many "classics". Most of what they play in concert is from the Bon era and Back In Black. 15? Man I feel old. Glad you like them though. Pick up Powerage and Flick of the Switch if you haven't yet. Great "lost" albums.

you got nervous shakedown and flick of the switch on there I just love the riffs on those songs. I also like guns for hire from that album. All in all its a great album
