The BCS standings give both of those polls equal weight and add in an extra 3rd computer ranking to give the overall BCS ranking. The BCS doesn't come out yet, but both the AP and USA Today polls are both equally weighted. Therefore overall, currently, the best we can assume is that both teams are tied until we get the computer rankings.

I honestly think that OU is the only team in the nation that would have a chance against Bama and LSU, but only an idiot would think they could win. @Havahunter14 Technically, you are the embarrassment. OU is #1 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. LSU is #1 in the Associated Press Poll. The BCS standings give both of those polls equal weight and add in an extra 3rd computer ranking to give the overall BCS ranking. The BCS doesn't come out yet, but both the AP and USA Today polls are both equally weighted. Therefore overall, currently, the best we can assume is that both teams are tied until we get the computer rankings.

Also, South Car is good! Arkansas is a good team but Bama is just a SUPER good team! SC, UF, and AR would ALL be in the running for a conference championship if they were in the Big 12!

They deserve some praise too, beating Oregon and then West Virginia on the road, but to say OU is unworthy because Florida State lost is ridiculous. OU lets their game speak for themselves on Saturdays. A win is a win and at the end of the day, if OU is 12-0 when December comes, then we'll let the teams decide on the field.
