  • sad ass fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :'(

  • I've never understood how people could be so heartless as to kill another human being. In my opinion, people deserve to have a life - regardless of what the family may have done, there are other things that can be done about it. Such a tragic ending, but such a beautifully done film.

    P.S.: I'm in tears, too.

  • Regardless of bad government, the kids don't deserve to die, let alone killing the whole family.

  • this movie is moving and all....but extremely biased. yes, they're showing the pain the tsar and his family went through, and yes it's sad....but that pales in comparison to 300 years of oppression and MILLIONS of deaths this dynasty caused. and i'm not trying to excuse any actions, but if you agree with the death penalty (which i don't), then i don't see much difference between condemning someone to the electric chair/lethal injection and the murder of the tsar and his family.

  • @korndud

I agree with the fact that Nikolas II got shot. Because in his time he did have a chance to change things in Russia. I don't agree with how he and his family were treated for over a year and they had to die with him.

  • I hate those communists :(

  • Aw, so sad, especially little Alexei, what awful treatment, not deserved whatsoever.

  • my god...the horror this family went through...a nightmare

  • Fuck Lenin.

  • oh i get it they're going to 'shoot' them, not 'shoot' them, so they actually 'shot' them. clever -_-

  • I'm crying :'( But what a great film! Loved Alan Rickman!

  • What a brilliant film.

  • What a brilliant film.

  • How severe man can be to his own kind..

  • know am sad:(

  • Well, I hope the Bolsheviks are proud of themselves, butchering kids and then proceeding to destroy tens of millions of Russians.

    Assholes.

  • @TheNuharoo The times when this took place was a very difficult time in Russian History. Actually when Nicolas resigned being Czar, Alexei was expected to remain behind while the rest of the Romanovs were deported. Because of Alexei illness his father resigned for him. The government was fluctuating back and forth. During a civil war trails are difficult because one government one day another the next. Watch the film Nicolas and Alexandra found on you tube in parts like Rasputin is. doug

  • I wasn't feeling overly emotional until "Sometimes, we have to believe in magic." "Is the pain gone?" "Yes." Then it hit me.

  • Alan Rickman dies too much. :(

  • @alanrickman101 actors love to die.....

  • @alanrickman101 i have to say i was just thinking about that, r there any movies in which he doesn't die? love the name btw

  • @russianmusician Every single time he plays a bad guy, he dies. he survives a lot when he is a good guy tho :)

  • @alanrickman101 he makes a nice bad guy! what are some good movies in which he actually survives?

  • @russianmusician Snow Cake, Busted, The January Man, Closet Land, Close My Eyes, Mesmer, Sense and Sensibiliy, Dark Harbor, Dogma, Galaxy Quest, Blow Dry, Harry Potter's 1-7 part 1, The Search for John Gissing, Love Actually, The Hitch-hiker's guide to the Galaxy Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Nobel Son (he plays a jerk, but he's not evil), Bottle Shock, The Wildest Dream and Alice in Wonderland are all the movies that I have seen that he is in where he doesn't die.

  • @alanrickman101 thank you :) i'll have to watch all of them now lol

  • @russianmusician np. I love the movies where he does die 2 tho. He makes me love movies that I would otherwise hate. if u r looking for a sweet movie, Snow Cake is amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • @alanrickman101 he is just lovely!! thanks again :)

  • @russianmusician No problem ;)

  • @alanrickman101 in which movie does he have a scene where he is dancing in an empty gas station?

  • @russianmusician it's not a movie, its a music video for the song "in demand" by Texas. It's here on youtube

  • @MouthOfTheUnknown oh, thaks, too bad would have really loved to watch that movie!

  • Thumbs up if you kinda lost interest in the movie after Rasputin died.

  • Comment removed

  • oh god...I shouldn't have watched the end...

  • This movie was amazing, but the brutality and the amount of suffering that this family went through is beyond forgiveness. The ending was really hard to take - As I write this I am not ashamed to say that I am crying. I did watch the film from part 1 through part 12 and I'm glad I did. This goes to show that history when in doubt is one of the most painful topics talked about to date.

  • @Devilishbritt what do you mean by "history in doubt"?

  • @Devilishbritt me too... tears

  • Not that I agree that the Romanov are saints. Bloody Nicholas, as far as I am concerned, should not be. The Orthodox by glorifying the Romanov's is stating that Russia will never return to the USSR might like the murder of the Romanovs the USSR was saying Russia will never return to imperiaism again. As a former Orthodox Christian I had to accept them as passionbears, but now that I have been cured of christianity by the good christians of the world, I am Unorthodox. Perhaps I am a pagan.

  • Thi is the reason why i hate Lenin so much.

  • @antropopellazgu If Lenin had lived longer, many more years, the USSR would have been much different. Stalinism is what defeated the movement for change, Stalin ended up being another Tsar Read "The Prophet" by Isaac Deytscher, all three volumes about Trotsky.

  • Nicholas never wanted to become the sole Ruler of all the Russias. He wanted to be a country gentleman and not rule. If he and his family had history would be much different. The Romonov family are now passionbearers, saints of the Orthodox Church. Alan Rickman did a wonderful job. Alexandr D'Maddalena

  • @douglasmatley

Yes the Romanov are saints as much as the Mobarak of Egypte, Al assad of Syria, Kaddafi of Lybia nodays (And that is said; I am against any kind of violence: againt the violence of State and against the violence of suffering people)

  • @isaacson21 You are correct. Bloody Nicholas and family should never have been glorified. This was a political move by the Orthodox Church. The Church is only in balance when there is an Emperor, Orthodox Russia is trying to return to imperial times again. Socialist Russia is trying to stop this. By the way the USSR never achieved Communism like we in the USA have never achieved Democracy. We are still an empire. Russia is trying to return to being an empire again.

  • @douglasmatley At the very least, they deserved a fair and public trial while the kids should have been exiled to live with Romanovs overseas.

  • @TheNuharoo A fair trial is difficult even without a civil war about you. No country would take the responsibility to receive the Romanovs once they were deported, so this never happened. War causes death for hundred's of thousands of innocents (Like the war we are engaged with in the middle east). War is death for countless peoples, men, women and children. How many were killed when we dropped bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan?

  • @douglasmatley But the kids? Couldn't someone take the kids at the very least?

  • @TheNuharoo No one offered. The family of Nicolas and Alexandra was very close, seperation would have been difficult. This is the one positive thing the last ruling family of Romanov's were known for. Because they were so close and a loving family they did not expect what happened to them. They thought they would be exiled and live out their lives. By executing the whole family the Reds were saying that the Whites would never regain control again of Russia. -- doug

  • @TheNuharoo I know i dont know how they had guts to kill the children as well

  • Wasnt it that anastacia and her brothers remains were found a little farther ?

  • u know out of all the movies ive scene of the romanovs family this is the only scene that actually shows the murder of the romonovs vidily its so sad and cural

  • Hungry people can do everything, that`s why people must be carefull about russians.

  • You are comparing the legal execution of a relative handful of cold-blooded murderers, people who kill for money, sex or thrills, to the murder of the Romonov family, including the children? When criminals cease to dish out the death penalty to innocent people, then capital punishment will become moot. Your attitude kills thousands of innocent people each year. If the death penalty was executed for all murders and swiftly, the murder rate would soon plunge. Your bleeding heart kills.

  • @litwriter100 Angered Mobs don't think logical. That is why rulers fear the people they rule over.

  • why cant people stop being asshols every country i dont care which has at one time or another done horrible things in there past !

WE ARE ALL HUMAN and we make terrible decisions at one time or another

  • Fuck that bastard Sverdlov! Fuck Lenin! Fuck the bolsheviks! Fuck the Soviet Union! Fuck the communists! Fuck communism! All will burn in hell.

  • @MrLindemann89 hells not real

  • The kid who plays Alexis is too cute by half for the character and way too young at his murder. This is almost like a macabre children’s movie! I guess the message is clear. If a filmmaker wants an award, find some way to weave Rasputin into the flick! The fascination with this bizarre personage never seems to wane.

  • I thought that *Nicholas and Alexandra* receiving an Oscar nomination was a joke, But this movie receiving a Golden Globe is a travesty. It has more historical inaccuracies in it than I can list in the limited space YouTube permits! (Cont)

  • There was plenty of cruelty, ignorance, and reactionary behavior to go around. It is not able to be crowned on one group or another. Killing the Romanov's was to prevent any strong, direct heir for the Romanov throne. People care little about Cousins or Cousins of Cousins, except strongly monarchistic people. That being said, exile to a foreign country would have been likely best for all parties involved. Out of sight, out of mind, and out of history.

  • Gee. I think the hemophiliac survived the onslaught...

  • Sick, godless Bolsheviks!!! What kind of SCUM kills women and children?!?

And to the Russian Orthodox Church, for your cowardly refusing to sanction the ceremonial reburial per the accords of your faith -- BURN!!!!

  • such a truly devastating story. :( wonderful film though.

  • you fucking russians. damn all ya'll and your stupid rules. why not de-throne the royal family? all of ya'll are just alike. the russians, the brititsh, the french, the asians, the austrians. i mean come the fuck on. i am glad and grateful that i am american. if our presidents don't come through, they are impeached; not murdered. fucking murderous countries. see!?! that's why your dynasties always fall cause ya'll do so much murdering "in the name of honor and royalness".

  • @musiqtube1 its that kid of ignorance which makes people in Europe hate us america isnt to saintly either we had slavery we put the Japanese in concentration camps we have the KKK we spawn neo Nazis we are made up of Europe and we killed a lot of innocent people in the civil war we were part of a monarchy and if it weren't for that monarchy america would have never been what it was today so please stop being ignorant because we also still have the death penalty

  • @adsweaty HERE WE GO AGAIN. I know that this has changed. I was referring to American's and their policies in this century. read my statement carefully before u comment. [I hate when they do that.] and stop hating on America because most of ya;ll wanna come over here anyway. you hate us so damn much BUT WE ALWAYS COME TO YOUR RESCUE WHEN YOUR COUNTRY IS IN TROUBLE. SAY THE MAGIC WORDS AND WE'LL STOP. -_- I DIDN'T THINK SO.

  • @musiqtube1dude i live in america i was born in cuba and came here when i was vey little i respect this country and everything it stands for i am proud to be an american but, america is made up of immigrants and no country comes to anyone's rescue. ww11 you did not participate in till the japanese bombed you guys even when britiain and france were begging for help also ww1 you guys did no get in it until your v boats got attacked and britain and france were still asking for help

  • THAT IS WHY THOSE FUCKING RUSSIANS SUFFERING TODAY AND FOR ALL ETERNITY.

    THE BOLSHEVIKS ARE REAL BULLSHITS

THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH WORSHIPS THE DEVIL THEY SACRIFICE BABIES ; CHILDREN; AND FUCK THE VIRGINS BEFORE EATING THEIR FLESH AND DRINKING THEIR BLOOD

IF YOU THINK I AM TALKING SHIT WHY NOT GO AND LIVE IN RUSSIA.

  • @skylon6 You know the current situation of Russia has nothing to do with Communism. The USSR no longer exists. If you ask me it went up shit creek as soon as Gorbachev stepped down.

  • @skylon6 Where the hell have you gotten that bollocks from, I've been to Russia and I've watched documentaries that have nothing to do with political situations, people miss communism. It meant people had jobs and didn't have to travel hundreds of miles for work. The Russian Orthodox Church is a branch of christianity, one of the most intense there is. You my friend, are talking utter bollocks.

  • @TheBren93 You fucking uneducated asshole. What does you and your kind know about the world and its history. Fuck you and you mother.

  • this movie is sick - these people were monsters who killed millions of Russians. Forget about world war 1 - what about the thousands of women and children slaughtered in bloody sunday 1905, or the dreaded torture of the okhrana, or the way they lived in palaces eating cake while they sent soldiers to massacre civilians in bread queues (they at least mentioned that in the film)

Nicholas was a monster who ended up getting himself and his family killed.

  • @markoconnor20112011

yes, i find it hard to believe people commenting here like "this is so sad the entire family was killed" when the people they governed weer dying like fleas.

  • @markoconnor20112011 there were around 200 casualties on bloody sunday, not thousands. Although I agree with you wholeheartedly, the Tsars were reactionary fools, they didn't understand the people they claimed to represent. Although I wouldn't go as far to call them monsters, they were merely ignorant of political and economic situations, and were brought up to believe they ruled by divine right, so when they were told otherwise, they found it hard to believe.

  • at the end it says 3 of their daughters, they had 4! They never mentioned anything about Anastasia! Where the hell is Anastasia?!

  • @Serena2192

Same as with Alexei, when the film was made, only the remains of three daughters had been recovered. In 2007, Alexei and Anastasia were found buried separately.

  • What pisses ME off is that they don't teach this side of the story in schools... they teach us about it as if the Czars were the bad guys... and they neve even mention Rasputin!

  • @TotallyTscopeTV I actually had to watch this movie for my World History class. I'm glad we did.

  • @sebastionthegreat Are you in college? Because I'm a freshman in highschool and I asked my teacher if we could watch it, and he said they weren't allowed to show rated R movies even if it was for educational purposes. >_<

  • Oh man, I didn't think that I'd cry. D:

  • i seriously hate this movie!! i didnt want alan 2 die . *sobs*

  • The people had the right to be angry but by killing the royals they turned them into martyrs and themselves into monsters.

  • Wait, but it never said if they found Rasputin's remains...

  • @TotallyTscopeTV they did in the movie, and if ur interested his penis has been preserved in some famous penis museum, no lie

  • The Romanov's now have all been buried, including Alexei and Anastasia and my Russian teacher, who is from Yekaterinburg where they were killed, was there when they built a memorial chapel over the burial site.

  • thumbs up if watched the WHOLE thing from part one!

  • @50srocknrollfan18 yeah we rock!!

  • too bad en a shame they didnt rape the man how killed rasputin

that queer nephew of the queen

did i mention he was a queer en now hes getting raped by the devil in HELL

in his ass en his wife is blowing demons in HELL

rasputin had manny sins en was a specially bizarre strong en spiritual man

but how knows mayby he did have some good powers

its yust even in the bible prophets en saints sometimes abuse

en get drunk en then its all over sad point

cause you cant heal with hypnose NEVER

  • Ooh they shot Gandalf now hes going to come back and kick their ass

  • @SuperDogbiter I love you

  • very powerful.

  • It's their own fault. This is what they wanted. It's their own fault. This is where they lay.

  • @VladFerdinand1 Mastodon reference FTW!!!

  • @codeaires :D

  • This movie was historically inaccurate in the extreme but at least it had a happy ending. I hate Communism but if it wasn't for Monarchies like this then the Bulshevik Revolution would have never taken place. All Kings and Queens around the world need to be drowned in the piss and shit of the people that they oppress.

  • @DanielDamascusKimery shame on you, youre saying that they have to be murdered.... i hope that youre entire family will suffer the same destiny and you will reconsider your stupid comment, thanks

  • i dont care about anyone else...but why did RASPUTIN have to die ._.

  • i think the saddest part of this film is knowing how it is going to end....its like you know they are marching to their deaths but they do not. you want to tell them to run or turn around or something in order to save them, but you cannot. ( too bad i cant jump in there like Rambo and kill all the "bad guys" and save the family xD) but atleast they died together as a family and not alone. RIP Romanov family.

  • Its heartbreaking how the film maker added the childs voice to naration. Made it feel like you were there with him the whole way. So sad that they refuse to bury them even now. Whats done is done. Let the dead rest.

  • Comment removed

  • so easy to pull a trigger, a person can be blind, dumb and def and succseed in killing someone, it's really sad.

  • I agree with you, expect the part about Nicholas. Nicholas could have been put on trial for many things, Bloody Sunday 1905, Persecution of Jews and Political Opponents etc, and he could have been found Guilty and sentence to death by hanging without the savagery of killing his Family.

  • Thanks so much for uploading all these!

  • If only Nicholas had agreed to a constitutional monarchy whilst he still had the chance. I wonder what the 20th century would have been like if he had.

  • Those FUCKING bolsheviks!!!!!

  • The remains of Alexei and Anastasia were found in 2007 and confirmed by DNA testing. :( I almost couldn't bear to watch the end, but did anyways and now I'm in tears.

  • @blinky48 I thought they found Alexei and Maria.

  • @Morb2 They couldn't figure out whether the new found female remains were that of Maria or Anastasia. In 1991 when the remains of the Tsar, his wife and three of his daughters were found, they could not figure out if the remains of the youngest female they found back then were of Maria or Anastasia, but in 2007, when they found Alexei's remains and the remains of one of his sisters, they concluded that all of the family were accounted for and murdered by the Bolsheviks.

  • Comment removed

  • @blinky48 Anastasia was already found in 1991. The remains of her sister Maria was found in 2007 :(

  • @blinky48 They didn't just shoot them, they even bayoneted them and crushed some of them with the rifle stocks. And then they took all their jewels and valuables from them.

  • What a horrible movie. :(

  • @drpepperlover123 Real life doesn't always have a Hollywood ending.

  • Damn this kybelian left a lot of ignorant comments here, he must have some serious issues-lol

  • @kayaburning Its probably over your head and beyond your mental capacity to understand. Or you lack the honesty to accept the role the Russian Orthodox Church had in maintaining the Serf system of Tsarist Russia. Projection seems to be a Christian trait. In other words the Ignorance is within yourself that u try to project to others when something is said against your immature view of the world.

  • @kybelian I'm curious to know where you get your information from about the R.O.Church? Obviously you accept propaganda as fact, and you obviously had a christian (hurt your feelings) somewhere in your life. So on behalf of all Christians, and like yourself, (I'm throwing us all in one catagorie), I'd like to say: Sorry!!! Whenever I make any kind of statement, its good to have actual facts from people that were there, and I can say the R.O.C.did more for the poor than any social worker.

  • I know its a movie and can be considered propaganda but since it did happen this does more to portray the Leninist as scum then anyone or anything else can. Yes. its understood why? Yes. A living Royal could always serve as a rallying point but still its clear who the Beasts are in this scene and this point in history.

  • Such a sad seen, thats Communiism for ya, but theCzar and Family were martyred as Saints by the Russian Orthodox Church. Holy Theotokos and Martyred Romanof Saints, pray for us, now and ever, unto ages of ages, Aman!!!

  • @kayaburning Although the scene shows the Leninists as beasts you have no need to feel superior because the founding of the USA floats on the blood of the Indigenous Peoples and u by proxy have murdered without any remorse reducing war to a TV event.

  • @kybelian Whats your claim to fame that makes you so righeous,? How much poor have you saved? As far as the Russian orthodoc church is cocerned, they've done more for the p;oor, than any Catholic or protestant ever did!!! Sounds to me like your either a sopporter of Communism or a Lenenist yourself, calling me indegenious, you don't even know what race I am from.

  • @kayaburning Thats a lie. The Russian Church were partners with the aristocracy in keeping the Serfs oppressed to such a degree it fueled the revolution. Ignore the facts all u want. its a Christian habit whenever the critical finger points at them. And I have worked with the poor most of my life as a healthcare provider for free as well as pay. U also cant read because I did not call u 'indegenious' whatever that means.

  • @kayaburning The Russian Church didnt give a damn about the plight of the millions of Russian serfs which led to the downfall of both the Imperial regime and the church. The argument of the 'communists' was in favour of those nameless souls crushed by the Christian-Czars over the centuries since the times of Ivan the Terrible. The Romanovs were clueless and insulated from reality. And when informed didnt give a fuck.

  • Why did they kill the children??? That's a horrible deed

  • On a much lighter note in 2000 their remains were buried in a ceremoney and were proclaimed passion-bearers by the Russian Orthodox church. And as of 2008 the missing remains have been found

  • Comment removed

  • the german blood fucked everything up

  • Alexei and Anastasia's remains have been found. The location was found in a diary and the remains were found in the spring of 2008.

  • poor gandolf....

  • Gottverdammte scheiß Drecksbolschewisten!

  • how does the Russian orthodox Church not want to give these peopel a proper burial? I guess there doctorine doesnt include mercy. Butt then again they look at the tsar as there leader one day and then there enemey the next. Oh yes the true church indeed SPITS

  • It is believed Rasputin sold his soul to the devil... Mary appearing to him is Rasputins own incompetence. People say Rasputin lives until all members of the Tsar are dead... 11 Were killed and burried... only 9 were there the second dig up... Rasputin actually was also beheaded but he still stared at the gaurds even in this condition... He is currently frozen in the Siberian River... If Anastasia is really a survivor... Rasputin is still alive...

  • very powerful cinematography and music in this closing scene. I feel for Nicholas's young children, and the servants. Tsarism was tyranny by negligence. Soviet communism was tyranny by its disregard for humanity.

    Russia; what a country.

  • One of the best movies ever!!! Although terrible ending! I have watched something similar(only without the shooting).

One of my favourite characters Alan Rickman has played.

    1. Severus Snape(HP)

    2. Sheriff George of Nottingham(Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves)

    3. Grigori Rasputin(This one!)

    4. Hans Gruber(Die Hard)

  • @millaindie U ARE MY GOD !!! where have you been all my life ??? ?!?!?

  • @YoMommaShugga In Norway:P Why is that?!

  • @YoMommaShugga because of your favorite Alan Rickman characters, they are ace !

  • every one of you who has showed remorse for the death of the romanov would make nice canon fodder. brainwashed scum.

  • Tragically, the executions were not as quick as this film makes it out to be. In reality, the whole thing was a clumsily-carried out orgy of murder. Most of the gunmen were drunk and, far from being professional killers, were instead mere amateurish thugs. Nicholas and Alexandra died first but the daughters took at least 20 minutes to die, the murderers beating and stabbing them repeatedly. Even when they carried the bodies outside, they discovered at least one of the girls was still alive.

  • Yes! The Romanov Monarchy is ended :)

Too bad the Russians now have more than seventy years of Communist rule before they have a real free democratic government. What bad luck - every leader except Boris Yeltsin has been a repressive dictator.

  • MONSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I must say, Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors, and Grigory Rasputin is my absolute FAVORITE person of history. I just can believe the pain he must have suffered through his life...and how much agony he felt when the Tsarina turned her back on him? I just wish they would've gotten his death right. He was poisoned by Cyanide, shot a total of four times, bludgeoned, and in the end, he was thrown and the river. Cause of death? He drowned. I only wish I could have met such an amazing person.

  • This is a kind of 'cover up' They were killed in satanic [freemasonic] ritual, tortured , mutilated and burned. Because international masonary was directly involved in this, they made this cover-up film blame on Rasputin and bolsheviks.

  • Comment removed

  • I am not ashamed to admit I cried. As much as I don't believe in ghosts, I hoped that the sprirts of Nicholas's family had seen me grieve over the way they had been so mercilessly killed, even if this was just a reenactment. Nicholas II made mistakes, and wasn't truly ready to rule, but no one should die because of their mistakes, especially if it includes innocent children.

  • this last scene has haunted me since i saw this when i was a little kid

  • Hey...could some body tell me...did they descover the remains of alex?

i mean..im so curious about what happend 2 him..he might lived after that accdient then killed later..o.o i wana KNOW !@$#@!#%!#%

    PS..

That Excution Was Mercyless..i mean..u Could Die at Any Momment..But i think that Alex Diyed and got barried in another place..

  • @DrLove2Hell In 2007, not long far from where the discovered the others, the remains of two bodies were recovered. One of the remains was 10-13 and the other was 18-23. It was the ramains of Alexei and one of his sisters. With them they found blue and white striped cotton cloth. Alexei commonly wore a blue and white striped cotton undershirt. Sad. Makes me cry. He would have been a great Tsar. He also had a couple more years until he out grew his Hemophilia.... :(

  • @Gorseheart hwo did they discover alexis remains

  • @64palkia1 @64palkia1 On and off they had research teams searching the area with metal detectors. Buried with them were bullets, sulfuric acid pots and other things. The metaldetectors went off and they found them. Yurovsky's report is just horrid! He explains how he and the team of Bolsheviks plan, killed and disposed of the Romanovs. Yurovsky himself was the one who killed Nicholas AND Alexei!

  • @64palkia1 Alexei was on the ground pretending to be shot but when the soldiers stabbed him with bayonets, he continued to live. It's strange because of his Hemophilia. But any who, the soldiers complained how he wouldn't die, so they kicked him is the head. He was still alive so Yurovsky shot him twice in the head. Alexei fell silent.

  • @64palkia1 After that they threw their completely nude bodies into a broken down mine, with barely any water covering them. They decided to move them, but the truck broke down so they decided to bury them there. After burning their clothes he said he threw Alexei and Alexandra's lady-in-waiting Anne Demidova were thrown into a small pile and burned. Yurovsky used the sulfiric acid to disfigure their faces. HORRIBLE MAN! >:(

  • @Gorseheart and what about anastasiha

  • @64palkia1 She was found with her family. It was Tsarevich Alexei and Grand Duchess Maria that were found in 2007.

  • @DrLove2Hell Wishful thinking, but sadly the boy was most certain killed. All of the family was killed then. They have no discovered his remains, but it is detailed in one of the men who killed the family's report, so there's pretty much no way he could have survived.

  • The best movie based on the Romanov's the the Russian Movie, Romanov: Imperial Family.

  • thanks for uploading

  • @darkangelle80...one of the younger grand duchesses were missing...in 2007 they confirmed that the last grand duchess they found along with alexei was maria

  • The Bolsheviks would have killed the family to ensure that no Romanov ever tried to lead a rebellion against the new government - they didn't want any of the heirs or blood relatives alive, hence the murder of Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich and other members of the House of Romanov. I still believe the deaths were cruel and unnecessary acts of violence; I'm sure Nicholas would have been glad to quietly disappear as a civilian with his family. History is full of tragedy ;-;

  • Comment removed

  • @xBlackwingRose true, they shouldn't have killed the women at least, as true Orthodox monarchists can't trace legitimate lines of succession through women

  • @xBlackwingRose

I agree it was cruel and unnecessary- particularly the murders of the children, but it should never be forgotten that the Romanov dynasties apathy towards the serfdom across Russia was also very cruel. Unfortunately what followed was communist terror; the Russian story is a story of tragedy.

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 Technically, serfdom had been abolished in Russia since 1861, but things were still bad.

  • @xBlackwingRose

I agree it was cruel and unnecessary- particularly the murders of the children, but it should never be forgotten that the Romanov dynasties apathy towards the serfdom across Russia and the way people were gunned down in St Petersburg for asking basic rights was also very cruel. Unfortunately what followed was communist terror; the Russian story is a story of tragedy.
