My wife does Avon. Her manager is a pretentious liar, the support center people are outsourced and don't speak English well, it's truly a giant pyramid scheme. It's worse than selling Rainbow vacuums.

@scutter4christ - You don't apologize on Avon's behalf brother, it's not your fault. I'm just relating my wife's and my experiences. We've had to call customer service probably 10 times in the past two weeks and have gotten only one American english speaker, and have been lied to every time. We're not going to be doing it much longer. We don't put up with dishonesty in business. Again that's just our testimony.

doesn't common sense dictate that one of the first thing ya cut, if poor, is "make-up..?" vanity cream, etc.. Church of Christ frowns on make-up, if I remember correctly.. this depression is makin' us do things we wouldn't do 2 yrs ago, reducing us.. I worked for $5 an hour yesterday and feel as bad as you must feel, pimpin' make-up.. tsk,tsk,tsk..

@Dewdaahman Well i appreciate your opinion. But you must realize that Avon offers a great deal more than just make-up. Like soap for example. Stuff ya need whether poor or not. :o)

And actually I don't feel bad at all. I take pride in any job that I do. You should learn to do the same.

@Dewdaahman Well, I am sure we could probably get in to the debate about that if we really wanted to. It would probably take me about 20 seconds to make you realize you do the same thing. If you buy just about anything in public (or get a pay check), you assist the same "enemy".

So rather, let's not get into that debate because it ends up being the pot calling the kettle black and we both know that is senseless.

@Dewdaahman and not that I am trying to be technical. But let's look at it in this light. Google is traded on the stock market. Youtube is owned by google. So you having a channel, watching videos, commenting on them, etc means you are supporting a publicly traded company. Which is the same thing you just crucified me for doing. :o)

@markstevenbuisness Yes, I was thinking that too earlier tonight. It would be a good way for maybe high school kids or even college kids make some extra money. Most of them are usually on the computer all the time anyway, so why not make some money while being on it. :o)

@scutter4christ i agree! i am a junior in HS and i think it would be great, but i have many other things i do to make money.. I.E: small engine repair, auto repair, landscaping, general maintence
