"Sith" wasn't really a well defined term in Star Wars canon at this point. Even Darth Vader's title as "Dark Lord of the Sith" was not explained in much detail. In fact Timothy Zahn was considering giving that name to the Noghri of the Thrawn Trilogy to elaborate on their loyalty to Vader, that he was indeed "Lord of the Sith". It wasn't until 1999 that Sith was used to describe dark side Jedi counterparts with Dark Jedi being technically different from them.
I'm sure I'm going to get crucified for this, but I think with some acting lessons and some genuine workmanship, LucasArts could make a whole other damn Star Wars series starring the antics of Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors. I think there's huge room for storyline possibility there. Anyone agree?
I'd rather a Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors storyline than more clone wars and Vader. You're right, there's plenty of story possibilities, from their mercenary days through to Kyle's attainment of Jedi Master.
