HA! merged with Time Warner's The Comedy Channel in 1991 to become Comedy Central; at first they were called CTV: The Comedy Network, which pissed off a certain Canadian TV network of the same name, which led to the rebranding.
Damn, I didn't realize that the Lackey "Think Fast" episodes aired that early 1990 (before Nick Studios {and Universal Studios Florida} officially opened).
TMNT movie opened HUGE for its time. $25 million in 1990 was a lot for a movie to open, especially in March. Essentially, it'd be considered like how the 300 opening was a couple years back.
On UK verison of Think Fast, the teams are red and green, but unlike the US version, the teams are yellow and blue, and it's the same rules as the US verison.
I wrote this on your comments. Where did you see UK episodes of think fast. Also isn't there a law in Europe stating that kids can't win cash on a gameshow.
the one thing i don't understand about the locker room, it KINDA woulda made sense to open them for like 2 seconds or so prior to the bonus round.) (because the 1st match was nothing but luck) (needless to say the quicker they found him the better their chances of winning.)
I remember that blow pop commercial. Wow a TV spot for the original ninja turtles movie. I was 5 when that movie came out. I saw it in theatres and fell asleep.I was hooked on double dare, guts, legends of the hidden temple, nick arcade, rugrats, ren and stimpy, doug, and Are you afraid of the Dark. God just thinking about these shows puts me back in my child hood and remembering all the memories watching these shows and who i was with. I always wanted to be on Nick but never got the chance.
LOL! who wasn't hooked on these shows? (imo, THIS is what nickelodeon should be. This and get the picture were both pretty educational.) (although of the 2 this 1 was more so.) (not that it would matter now, i know a lot of people who have banned nickelodeon in their homes completely because of the way they handled the controversies surrounding jamie lynn spears, and chris brown. absolutely disgusting.) (times may be changing, but that doesn't mean that what's right and wrong should!!
You know, when Think Fast was on Nick Gas, after watching both Michael Carrington and Skip Lackey hosting, I really don't know who did a good job. I think both of them did really well with this show, in my opinion.
Was that actor ORLANDO JONES (the 7...Up Yours! guy and The Time Machine) the baseball player on Match # 2 in the locker room?? This must have been his first acting job?
why was skip saying "who is that? listen to bo!"? (i know that was the red herring but he basically gave it away, and unless i'm mistaken weren't the teams supposed to figure that out on their own?
Yes. It was in the first season with Michael Carrington. Each player could only match three at a time, if the first player finds the time bomb b4 20 seconds expires, the second player gets the full 30 seconds, if they did not, they only have 20 seconds.
This show was OK, but neither of the hosts pleased me much. Michael Carrington the first host was stiff and Skip was too hyper (in a bad way) like he had waaaay too much dew before the show.
Carrington might have been stiff but he was a lot more smooth and calm with the game. Lackey was way over exicited, had he been calmer he would have been very passable.
Carrington was the better host. In this fast pace game, you need a host that can be both smooth and calm as well as excitable when needed to be and he was.
Lackey was a ADD case waiting to happen. I agree with you CM91. Great assesment.
i say again get the picture had higher stakes than this. on "get the picture" (during the 1st season when they kept score in terms of cash and not points it was not uncommon to see winning teams have around $1000 in cash or so in their pockets by the end of the show, (and that's including their winnings from the upfront game) and i think on 1 occasion each individual on the winning team ended up leaving with over $1000 (they got $805 during the game and i think they got 6 out of 9
lol, i still remember that Blow Pops commercial

At least one person of all seven pairs had been revealed. The kid back there would have had the best chance to spot this.

The Green Team has gone to the locker room with £300 to get all seven matches in 60 seconds.

if they pulled the herring handle at the wrong time, could the 7th match still be gotten?
Wheeloffortunefan999 4 years ago
yes. but they will hear a horn sound, if they are wrong.

i had a feeling about THAT but taht's not the point.

there was another Thinkfast in nick gas with a time bomb.

Bo was smart to identify the Red Herring so quickly, especially since not all the lockers were opened at that point.

You have to put "Nickelodeon" between Copyright and 2007, for all they know you could be claiming it as your own. Just a tip....
AsdfTheRevival 4 years ago
anyways viacom will take it down
trent100100 4 years ago
to hell with viacom
Wheeloffortunefan999 4 years ago 5
And even so, the copyright would be for the original date of airing, not this year.
TLEberle 4 years ago
But it's not like the copyright for the show has ran out. It's still valid.

They should've kept the 1st gig- find the TIME BOMB. It was much better.
