intel isnt better than anyone, intel depends much more of the chipset, have really bad drivers. amd have great drivers combined with nvidia u have a grat pc. the secret is make a great configuration. great perfomance between sw n hw. better drivers n chipset n that intel dnt have it.

um run 2 gtx 280s ull use the pci 2.0's at 16 and 16 if u use 3 its lowers it to 16 by 8 and 8 ..ull get around the same frame rate mostly cuz crysis is nivida if u use 2

you need a pretty high end GPU for GTA4.

I think its recommended to play with a generation 8 or greater video card, so maybe a 9800 GT would be okay.
