I'm glad I was there. Freakin craziest I've seen Memorial Stadium. Ranks up there in my favorite memories of Husker Football. I'm excited for the next couple years. We have an excellent group of seniors through sophomores, That was an amazing year for the freshman last year. We have a lot of quality players who have two or three years of eligbility, + the redshirts who are impressing coaches in spring camp. Can't wait to see them at the Sping game April 17.

South stadium was trembling so much that my next prayer was that the stadium wouldn't collapse. My CU friends that came for the game flipped me off and left right after the kick. The best thing to do is treat the Colorado fans with as much kindness and respect (even if we hate them) because we are HUSKER FANS - the best in the land! :) We should never stoop to their level! :) (Kill them with kindness so to speak) ha ha.

I was in my walk-in closet folding clothes TOTALLY convinced the game was over and I heard the radio call and the scream "It's GOOOOOD!" and I went screaming down the stairs. Scared my cat half to death!

If you claim to be a Nebraska fan and seeing that ball go through the uprights doesn't give you chills....you are either a liar....or your are dead. One of the best moments in Nebraska football history...and it only makes it sweeter that it carved Hawkins heart out! YES!
