When ur going 50mph,no hood ornament will make a differnce,thats 4sure.But with slower speeds Im sure it does make a difference between minor and major injuries.Having been hit by a car myself(while on foot), with minor injuries,I can tell you that it is surviveable.
@roblox84 I think it has 2 do with it being harmful to pedestrians if you hit one.Its not collapseable,like the benz star and could do considerable damage to the body.Like a spearhead.
Yeah jaguars designers said it was dangerous , especially in car accidents it can go flying anywhere
